Snow White to get a semi-permanent meet and greet at the Germany pavilion

I don't like this you shouldn't be able to meet characters at Epcot unless they are original Epct characters. The dumbing down of Epcot continues!

i don't think it's that bad...there are other structures in the ws for other characters...does this mean that dopey will be coming back out?

I don't mind this a bit. I think it works for families with younger children. Just like if they add a Remy meet-n-greet to France or Pinnochio to Italy. I don't see any problem and the average guest will love it.

Meet-n-greets with immersive environments are one of the best features added recently, and I'm glad to see the trend continuing. It is safer and probably a lot easier on the "character". Just my two pesos.

Character integration fail.:rolleyes::mad:

Hoping the structure at least fits the theme...and that Princess central (Norway) doesn't grow outward.

That is the catch for me. If they are going to build these in WS they need to be highly detailed and add to the pavilions rather than destroy the theming. We'll see.

I have no problem with it, but I'm not an EPCOT purist. Everyone knows how much of a failure it was when Disney didn't have Mickey and crew in EPCOT. As a result, they will never be removed. Personally, I'm glad they are theming the meet & greets to the environment and fitting them into WS rather than placing Snow White in front of TT. :shrug:

Right...If it's some cartoony looking shack...:brick:

But if they theme it nicely ...It might work.:D

I'm all for this as long as they do a good job. What's the harm in having a designated spot for kids to meet a favorite character?

More please.

Geese while we are at it lets just move Snow Whites Scary Adventure or what ever its called to the Germany Pavillion! :fork:

That is a good idea! They can add Pinocchio's Daring Adventure to Italy, Belle's Ball to France, and The Adventure's of The Great Mouse Detective to UK.

They are removing the greenery; replacing the tree with a different one; adding a cobblestone pathway to control the line; and adding a wishing well. If it were me, I'd be sure to add an overhang so as to allow Snow White a rain location.

If it were in one if the other three parks there wouldn't be a problem!

I don't see a problem adding this to Epcot. It's going to make the World Showcase a lot more appealing to little girls (of which, I have 2). And anyone who's not interested can walk right past it.

It may not be a win-win, but I think it's a win-no loose.
