News just popped on and said my area is looking at a possible 24" after it's done on Sunday night :(

(Dad just bought a sweet snowblower though! heheh)

(Originally it was supposed to be 5"....then yesterday it bumped to 8...late afternoon it was 12...last night...18....and now 24 for my area.) (We've got about 11 inches now)

WELCOME TO WINTER!

(although...I may go build me a snowman today because the snow is perfect for it!)

My little one has been out snowboarding (when we plow our road we make a huge pile at the end...great for heading down the bottom of the hill!...note to all looking to buy a house: DO NOT buy one at the bottom of the hill unless it never snows. )

An emergency has been declared in our area hospitals and all personnel have to show up...so DH will be spending the night waiting around for some poor unfortunate to make a mistake.

Stay safe everyone...

Kids have softer heads. They bounce. We old folks break (and I'm not just talking wind).

WOW! That`s weird cause up north here in Ohio we just had a dusting of snow so light that none of it stuck to the ground, it melted as soon as it hit the ground.:lookaroun

Thank goodness we don't have snow yet. Yesterday was a light dusting. I'm suprised though, usually we have snow by now. Yet, every year snow seems to come later and later...global warming? who knows! two years ago the first snow was on Christmas Eve, it was VERY magical.

Normaly I dont mind the snow. Last year it snowed for Christmas... and we nearly got snowed in, all of my family, in my little house. What bit was my grandfather called one day, from Florida to tell us that our little town made CNN because we had 30'' of snow in 24 hrs. AND to tell us it was 80 degrees there.

Snow is beautiful, but I know what a pain it is.... I thank God I live in "Paradise": close to the beach, mild weather, no mountains, no tornadoes, no rivers to overflow, and the only thing we have to watch for are hurricanes for which we already know what to do and can get somehow prepared for. :)

However... I am freezing now! It has rained and the wind is strong and chilly! :lookaroun
