Yeh...thought I’d leave that out. Couldn’t bear to repeat such abysmal use of the language. You forgot "I'd hazard a guess."
If you're going to be an obnoxious whiner, go big or go home, toots.

Yeah, "I'd hazard a guess" is the sort of thing that usually drives people who aren't mentally well that much more over the edge. But you?Yeh...thought I’d leave that out. Couldn’t bear to repeat such abysmal use of the language.
No disney does not 'demand' you carry your ticket at all times - that doesn't mean Disney is limited in what they can do.
100% agree.
Some of the nicest and most sociable people I’ve ever met have been in smoking areas. Perhaps we are gathered and have something in common, feel alienated and by virtue feel unity. Where else do get like minded people the chance to socialise? Most others just push past each other in a rush to their next objective whether ride or food.
I’ve befriended people from pretty much every state in the US & Canada, the latter being some of the most fantastic and respectful people I’ve ever met.
I recall sitting outside Wildnerness Lodge with a coffee and a smoke in the morning, in a dressing gown talking to people about last night and the day ahead. And then outside the DVC pool at Beach Club late at night with a beer, playing pool putting the world to right with people I never knew before but who are now friends.
That was the Magical part. Can’t charge for that.
I have too. In fact, we'd often bump into the same handful of people at the resort smoking area - it was really nice.100% agree.

Absolutely. Mad as a Hatter. And guess what? He scored tonight.Yeah, "I'd hazard a guess" is the sort of thing that usually drives people who aren't mentally well that much more over the edge. But you?
It's a strange, world, yes. I find the most interesting, adventuresome people.100% agree.

It would be awful for those that propose a strong police force should find themselves on the wrong side of the park patrol, for whatever reason. There are more rules that can be broken then smoking. I think we should all look at this through a wider lens. That was the exact point of my last 2 posts. It's not against "Disney Law" to not have your ticket with you while traversing a theme park..... And they can always revert to the "for any reason at all" clause.
The whole point is - they are not going to enforce this in that way. They are not planning on kicking anyone out for violating the no smoking policy - unless someone gets absolutely belligerent.
Us too. I dont smoke my dh does. My sons still talk about sitting at the dock playing checkers when dad smoked (mk/near tom Sawyer island) and behind space mountain. We have met so many people... we would have never if we were not forced to stop and take a break.100% agree.

Huh, fancy that. Guys ignoring character flaws in exchange for a hookup. I'll alert the media.Absolutely. Mad as a Hatter. And guess what? He scored tonight.

I've smoked twice in my entire life. But I'll start conversations with people on line, and they'll start 'em with me. Or waiting on parades or fireworks. On the buses. There are plenty of occasions where Disney kind of forces you to slow down and be patient. Being at WDW, you have one major thing in common already. There are still opportunities to be social with strangers.Me too! A major part of my holiday is meeting other people! I am worried what this change will do to the social aspect! I have some great memories of puting the world to rights with smokers, in the DSA! I am sad that those days have gone!
I got to meet so many wonderful people, from different backgrounds, cultures, Countries! It is what I will miss the Most!
The whole "I'll just play coy" thing was never a viable defense.
We take every opportunity to be social with other guests.I've smoked twice in my entire life. But I'll start conversations with people on line, and they'll start 'em with me. I'm now scratching my head how there is now some sort of excuse claiming that smokers are above in terms of social interactions and how they will be sorely missed
