Depends. In the UK flavourless juice e cigs are recommended by the NHS as a form of smoking cessation aid.
That assumes an eventual end to the habit. What I'm seeing in the US is the substitution of vaping for smoking as a long term method of maintaining a nicotine addiction. And, even without flavoring, the base liquid ingredients still contain a suspension medium which breaks down to other chemicals when heated up high enough to vaporize.

Exactly and Disneyworld isn’t an airport so I don’t think they will be permitted to have smoking rooms.
Ah, but Disney is DISNEY.... I expect, should they decide to pursue it, a Reedy Creek Improvement District Ordinance expressly permitting smoking rooms within the district -- with a Florida legislature imprimatur to match.

Since there are no more designated areas, smokers won't care anymore - they'll light up anywhere they think they can get away with it.

I used to smoke, and tbh - that's what I would do. ;)
Indeed. That’s the problem. I’ve always said offer designated areas and police it well. Otherwise you force it underground and it’s a free for all.

Saying you can’t do it won’t stop it.

Are e cigs regulated in the UK? The issue here is what chemicals, beyond nicotine and flavorings, are in the liquid. Like formaldehyde.

Another issue is the explosion of e cigs, like Juhl, among teenagers. Nicotine is a highly addictive chemical and not without risk.

I do know, as you've pointed out, individuals who vape to help with quitting. Unless patches, it satisfies the oral part of the habit.

To all of those who do smoke, does chewing gum (regular not nicotine) help calm down the sensation somewhat of needing another one? Just curious.

No
No, no, no....not above the rules, just don't care so long as I don't bother anyone else.
But see, you have no idea if you're bothering someone else. I have asthma. I react to those products. Not sure why but I do. You never know when you're around someone who's sensitive to Vapes

And trust me, we notice. Even the nonsentive members of my party.
