What, no rhyme? I'm disappointed.
Lol, You didn't even answer the question that was asked.Lol I was just answering your question, but I'm still not sure what the purpose of the question even was. Obviously there's more to a vape than steam.
I put in for some of those, too. Pretty soon, there's going be a model with red shorts and yellow buttons, I'm sure of it.I've probably posted this before - entire pages up....
Problem: No Smoking or Vaping within a Park. We desire, if possible, to stick to the rules.
Solution: A Patent Pending INHALER - no smoke, no vapor, aerosol - functions exactly like any other inhaler, uses the same propellant & mechanism And it's fairly cheap . Unlike an ECIG? ZERO cloud.
I ordered three. Delivered within 4 days. Link offered in an attempt to help others... I have NO Financial interest in this firm.
Alternatives? GUM (there go the walkways), Chewing Tobacco (WDW COULD install stylish Brass Spittoons), a Gulag+Security Check overload. I think this might be preferable.

I prefer that a procession of CMs dressed for the occasion.. follow the smokers ashaming them with songs, screams and bells..The CM's will not have to enforce the ban because the guests will. Disney will start a new upcharge experience for non smoking guests. For $199 you get a small water pistol and a whistle. When a participating guest spots a vaper or smoker breaking the rule in a park, they will use the whistle and then yell out "SMOKER!" or "VAPER!" and then start squirting the offender. When other participating guests hear the whistle and yell, they will also start to squirt the rule breaker and continue to squirt them until the rule breaker runs out the front gate and security area to the authorized location. They will then have a smoke free park and make some money doing it!
As of 40 minutes ago, the wind was blowing the smoke into both stroller areas by Nemo. Tell us again how they isolated the problem..
Sounds like a re-incarnation of the Spanish Inquisition. Perhaps Monty Python could re-unite for a Disney Prime Time Special.I prefer that a procession of CMs dressed for the occasion.. follow the smokers ashaming them with songs, screams and bells.
I posed that in an earlier post. They could swipe your band and issue a warning and then adopt a “three strike” policy. That kind of enforcement gets this to work. “Sorry, you can’t smoke here”....doesn’t
It’d work for alcohol consumption as well.
Question is.....does it matter enough for Disney to unleash “smoke (or alcohol) commandos”
Last year, my car was peppered with sand from the Sahara, a couple of thousand miles away. the wind is a strange phenomena. I have also seen the wind lift up and then dump live fish into a hotel car park 30 miles from the sea. Neither of these things were a regular occurrence. I doubt wind conditions that will blow smoke of any concentration over an 75-100 yard stretch of EPCOT is particularly frequent.
Are you suggesting the poster has a particularly sensitive nose...LOL... The wind speed was 8-10mph today. That barely qualifies as a breeze (4–31mph). A 3 on the Beaufort scale (which goes to 17).
If caught, scan the Magic band for their information. Three strikes and ban them from the parks. That would get some attention. Here's what will happen. People will find little corners, places off the beaten path, areas with sparse crowds........and they'll take a drag or 2, or three......then they'll repeat.
If they get caught.....a simple mea culpa - they'll put the cigarette out and 10 minutes later they'll light one back up in a different area.
They are going to have to enforce a zero tolerance policy with expulsion from the parks as the penalty if they really want this to work. Disney caters to a large International clientele (many of which take their smoking seriously). Wonder how its going to play if a Frenchman (or Spaniard) who has paid thousands of dollars in flights, hotels, and tickets gets booted from the MK for lighting one up?
This is coming from a smoker.
If they can’t beat their addiction and don’t want to follow Disney policy, they can always choose to go somewhere else. This right here.
I’m not a fan of smoking, but I realize there are people who just cannot break the addiction.
It is cruel to treat them like second class citizens due to their addiction.
Designated smoking areas tucked away and off the beaten path are the solution, not outright banning.
If you think that area is 100 yards from the stroller area, I'd recommend a trip to your optometrist.

Then strike one and your out of the park. SimpleWhat if I don't have my band. What if "My wife is clear across on the other side of the park. I left my wallet and band with her, because Photopass is tied to my band and she wanted to do some shopping and needed my wallet, sorry. We're meeting up in 2 hours at Disney Springs. Here I'll give you my name, it's Smith, John Smith."
Will the CM follow me in a "hunt" for my MB for an hour or so? Or will they just tell me to put it out.
I've no idea where Disney has placed the stroller park for NEMO, but the map i'm looking at shows the smoking area is 100 meters from the NEMO entrance and I am assuming that the stroller park is close to the entrance of the attraction. So who knows the actual yardage. From memory, I do believe that the smoking area is about 20-30 paces from any main walking path. Could it be in a more isolated place, yes of course. Could it be better screened, yes but Disney so far has not done a great job of landscaping any of future world, or of screening any of the stroller parks so they are protected from the sun, rain, and wind. And whether you believe me or not, I think providing the right location and facilities for people with children and smokers should be equal priorities for Disney as all are customers. Call me old-fashioned, but I remember when the core of a successful business plan for a leisure industry was an ethos aimed at meeting and surpassing the needs and expectations of their customers.
