I’d bet the opposite...it will be unnotoceable before you know it. (Pun intended)

Now get the hotels cleared...that’s a bigger day to day nuisance - just my opinion.

Won’t matter...because hardly anyone does it anyway...especially at the worlds biggest “pay by the minute” complex
My reference was more toward the conversation than the new rule which will likely not be enforced to the level it will need to be.

The only way this works is if they forbid tobacco products inside the gate, Disney wouldn’t have to be strict about it for everyone but if someone complains about another person smoking it would empower CM and security to ask that person to turn out their pockets if they have smoking parafenalia you either turn it over or get kicked out.

I'll continue to use my vape pen.

So will many others.

This will just spread it all around the parks b/c a whole lot of the cartridges are concentrated enough now that it takes very little vapor to get the desired affect.

It will probably get rid of cigarettes, though, b/c that'd be next to impossible to hide in plain sight. But, I could use that vape pen all day and no one would ever notice....or ever has noticed....if I wasn't in a designated area.

Case in point of people believing they are above the rules .

Can't wait for all the cry babies on Twitter. "DISNEY NEEDS A SMOKERS ONLY ADULTS ONLY PARK"
Take the nod from Pinocchio's Pleasure Island..

No, no, no....not above the rules, just don't care so long as I don't bother anyone else. If I got "caught" I certainly wouldn't be "above the rules" as they escorted me out of the park.

I'm just saying that will be the way I handle it. I'm quite sure I'm not that unique, so others will too. All Disney is doing is spreading it around the parks.

you are very naive to believe no one has ever noticed.

Ignoring the rules is the same as stating you are above them. Because you are not following the rules. And trust me, people notice when you vape. Just like with people who think they can drink alcohol and no one notices. The smell is there. They just dont say anything.

It's about time! As a former smoker who visited the parks I avoided the smoking areas and stuck to the nicotine gum. I felt weird about making my kids sit around and wait for me at the happiest place on earth while I indulged my habit (not magical). The inconvenience of smoking played a part in me quitting so hopefully this will encourage some other folks to consider doing the same. As for vape pens I'm less concerned about it as the 2nd hand risks are minimal but that industrial smoke stack worth of vape smoke is obnoxious.

I don’t smoke.
I cannot stand the smell of smoke.

But this is insanity.

It will result in both people lighting up all over the place (they already do, but now there is greater incentive to do so) as well as people getting angrier and angrier due to lack of nicotine.

Unless they don't allow cigarettes to be brought into the parks to begin with. I'm hoping this is how it will work.

Starting May 1st, All smoking areas inside the parks will be removed. The only spots to smoke will be outside the parks. I wonder how this will work in epcot with everyone drinking around the countries.

Well, if you can't bring loose ice in will security check ask people to leave their smokes outside when they notice it during bag check?
