I've seen it backed up many times, in pretty much all seasons, but it tends to get busy mid-day.
I like the white version of the front façade.

Yes!! This! IMO this look for the queue was so much livelier and gave WDW its own unique flair. Disneyland's facade has never worked for me crammed in the building the way it is now. And bring back the fountains!!

I really like the idea but the operation trade off would be a lot of downtime for lightning in the area and people not wanting to wait without as much cover when the weather is harsh.
Paris’ queue is all undercover. Including overflow. But it’ll never happen.
I know the queue is. I meant operationally it would be closed every time lightning is in the area.
I am with others. I prefer the original WDW mural.
A large glass canopy then.

Saw the photos - getting around this major mess is going to be a nightmare. Street often clogged BEFORE the latest "lets try to fix the queue" effort . Seriously - queue is too small, and no amount of reorganization is going to make it any larger .

walls were down when I was at MK on 8/9. Plexiglass has been added since the 9th.

Walls were down when we visited on July 20 but no plexiglass.Walls are down and the regular entrance is back open. Not quite sure exactly when it reopened.
