Rumor Small world overlay with Tangled?

Whilst I don’t always believe lots of the click-bait online, someone asked me today if I knew of any truth behind the rumour that there is a perception that small world is so unpopular that they plan to overlay with a Tangled theme?

Apparently multiple sources online and various ‘viral’ type pages reporting this,

This is certainly not something I had heard about and I can’t find any recent articles or posts about it on this trusted forum.

I think it's been mentioned of possibly incorporating Disney IPs into "it's a small world" like they did in Disneyland, but that's about it.

I quite agree. And hence why I wouldn’t have even thought this would be legit. But wanted second opinion from here too

It's a Small World definitely isn't "timeless", "relevant", or "Disney", is it? Better to gut them all and replace them with Disney Princesses! It'll be MAGICAL!!!

I'd say yes. Even though it's not the original, IASW is a Walt era attraction that is still very popular.

I'm not saying people are getting FP+s for IASW... but all the other rides are so congested now, people are lining up for IASW when they never used to before... IOW, the plot to distribute crowds across ALL attractions, not just the Ds and Es, is working.
