Don’t think they’d do that for a variety of reasonsHere is what I want: a line between AK and AK lodge.
Actually…i don’t even think they’d build the hotel if they had it to do over again

Aren’t those parked behind the Star Wars hotel?
I have to agree with you here. Unfortunately I think current WDW leadership views most of their assets as burdens these days. They’d rather not have to be bothered operating most of it.Don’t think they’d do that for a variety of reasons

It’s rare but that’s what happens when you’re right…we’re agreeing…
What the hell is going on here?![]()

I think if they could rebuild it they would do a line from CB to Epcot and a seperate line from CB to Riviera. It would be much more ideal. In addition to the weather, the stupid decision to not have a separate ECV offloading area at the Riviera station necessitates the entire thing coming to a stop about every 2 minutes, it seems.
What would be the advantage of that?I think if they could rebuild it they would do a line from CB to Epcot and a seperate line from CB to Riviera. It would be much more ideal.
I think they are just trying to take the Riviera midline station out of the equation since it’s the least efficient part of the entire system. What would be the advantage of that?
For guests traveling to Epcot - shorter and more direct trip with no stops for ADA at R.What would be the advantage of that?
I can agree with that…but you know dedicated lines to only a “moderate” would have gotten the grumpy face. No annual dues? Surley ye jest?I think they are just trying to take the Riviera midline station out of the equation since it’s the least efficient part of the entire system.
Ideally they should have built the transfer station next to Riviera. That transfer station would have served both Riviera and CBR and had lines running from there to Epcot, DHS, and POP/Art. That way you’d have the same number of lines and same resorts served but you’d have no midline station.
The hotels are a caste system…always have been…and no matter what they say will always be. A direct line from Caribbean would never get the go ahead. The only reason there is sorta one to studios is because of geometry and limiting cost. For guests traveling to Epcot - shorter and more direct trip with no stops for ADA at R.
For guests traveling from Riviera - short lines (guests often have to wait for an open cabin in my experience).
For all guests - better experience without unexpected stops.
Oh yeah - and that’s why it was built the way it was. But operationally I think they would reconsider if they had to do it all over again since. Maybe not.The hotels are a caste system…always have been…and no matter what they say will always be. A direct line from Caribbean would never get the go ahead. There wouldn’t really be a dedicated like to only a “moderate” in the plan I mentioned. CBR would simply share the Riviera station.I can agree with that…but you know dedicated lines to only a “moderate” would have gotten the grumpy face. No annual dues? Surley ye jest?
I’m shocked they put the AoA station in at all? But I’m sure they assumed doubling the price would happen there too…since they swim in the big, blue ocean
It kinda does? Aruba is right thereThere wouldn’t really be a dedicated like to only a “moderate” in the plan I mentioned. CBR would simply share the Riviera station.
So, how many more years until they just give up on the Skyliner? I'm betting about 8 more years until something happens on the line. Disney thinks it's unsafe they close it down as busses become the norm once again saving billions in electrical costs and be as extinct as the one like in MK and DL..
So you think bookings have went up since they opened it?100 years?
Why would they retire something like that helps fill up rooms and adds value per night to all resorts connected to a station?
