I'm still visiting PA. Had the experience of going to an auction in the country atteneded by all manner of good ol' boys and a few Amish bidding on anything from power tools to guady statues with catering featuring deep fried pickles!

Some very friendly folk there. Stopped by again this afternoon for Pork with saurkraut and mash!

Well, I did not keep track of what they bid on. I think they just entered the raffles (even though I thought gambling was on their no-no list). They may have been seeing how much their baked goods raised as they make some fine pies that were being auctioned.
