I've never seen it, but I always seem to prefer the originals, even before I give the remakes a chance.

Connor, you've never seen it? Oh, it really is great and I'm not even a Johnny Depp fanatic! Johnny did a fantastic job playing Willy Wonka (much better than I thought he would) and Freddy Highmore (the kid who plays Charle) does a much better job than the kid in the original. I would totally suggest renting it!

Agreed. I'm so glad Johnny and Kate Winslet recommended that little boy for that part. I loved him in Finding Neverland and this movie And not a Johnny fanatic? ...:lol: Kidding...but I LOVE him
