I shouldn't say anything...I've never seen LOTR or HP and don't plan to

I didn't expect to like LOTR that much because I couldn't get into the books. But I liked the movies pretty much. I am an avid Harry Potter fan though. Absolutley love the books and the movies are great too!

I would watch this version. IMHO, much better than the original, even though they shouldn't be compared. I never liked the other Charlie Bucket, but this one is too cute for words :D

I love the old version, I don't know why, but I especially love the performance of Willy Wonka, though I forget who played him.

 I didn't see that one!
But did anyone see the horrible story about the lady who got the baby stroller stuck between the subway car and the platform? After a bystander finally helped her by taking the baby out of the stroller, the train took off with the lady, whose coat became entangled in the stroller I guess, dragging her along the platform. Luckily, the train stopped before she was badly hurt. The baby was fine too. But who drives these things?! Don't you check to make sure the doors are clear before you take off?! Wow!

I can't help but think of the "Por favor..."

Connor, you've never seen it? Oh, it really is great and I'm not even a Johnny Depp fanatic! Johnny did a fantastic job playing Willy Wonka (much better than I thought he would) and Freddy Highmore (the kid who plays Charle) does a much better job than the kid in the original. I would totally suggest renting it!

I'm not that big on movies, I'm somewhat over-cynical...
I don't know what to expect with Depp, but I still love the old version, and I don't think they could top it.
My house hold hasen't rented a movie in at least 5 years.

Big Fish was a great movie, though...

I though they were good, but I've never read the books, so I didn't really get "into" it. I don't think I saw the 2nd one, though. I'm a HP fan too, but I prefer the books more than the movie.

Downtown Disney/AKL/Monorail/OKW/PO was an incredible amount of fun. It was the Festival of the Masters (your typical art fest, but also with sharpie givaways and crazy sidewalk chalk drawings and a soap sculpture), which was kind of disorienting. Raglan Road was DELICIOUS and such an incredible experience. So much fun. Everyone should go.

The free hot chocolate didn't hurt either. Too bad it's still 80 degrees out :lookaroun
