Rumor Siemens is going to end their sponsorship with the parks - Spaceship Earth and IllumiNations

I could see this - but I thought somewhere I saw that Club 33 was going to be in World Showcase - as it would provide optimal viewing of Illuminations. Of course, I could be wrong.

It's a possibility. But also still just a rumor. None of our insiders have given up a Club 33 site for Epcot yet.

I've always been baffled why any of the attractions "needed" a sponsor. It's a theme park, at its heart, just like MK. Owner of the theme park should pay to maintain/change it. That being said, I don't blame Disney for taking money from those willing to give it to put their name on something which often doesn't produce anything in terms of tangible gain for the sponsor.

WDW wants the S:E lounge to be Epcot's Club 33?
Isn't Club 33 a restaurant catering to those who are invited or pay?

If this is the case then the corporate lounge above the SSE postshow area isn't adequate. There is no direct access to a kitchen and they would have to cater everything in. I see the Epcot Club 33 being somewhere like the lounges above The Seas, The Land, Norway, or American Adventure in this case. There's also an unfinished 2-story building next to Mission:Space that was originally designed to be their corporate launch but could be converted into a new Club 33.
