Rumor Siemens is going to end their sponsorship with the parks - Spaceship Earth and IllumiNations

You'll be disappointed then.

That's quite sad. Beyond all of the reasons other members here have stated (and will state), I've always been drawn to Illuminations because it is so different and so unique. It stands out versus the other offerings. Soon, maybe that won't be the case. Guests can choose one of several shows which will likely have a lot of similarities. That's not an ideal formula for spreading people throughout the different parks. You can market a new show by having IP and characters, but to the normal guest it will just sound like HEA.

I wish they could work out a deal with apple. Apple gives them money and exhibits on future stuff (maybe they announce stuff there) and you let them sponsor tomorrowland and epcot. They get branding all over the park an apple store at epcot (which would fit there) all usage of Disney characters in ads, exclusive games for iPhone/ipad usage of characters on phones maybe even Disney models. Lets face it they have the money and Disney fans would flock to everything Disney/apple..... JUST DONT BUY DISNEY
btw ... they have enough cash today to buy... yes buy Walmart. Plus theres this....

Apple doesn't need it. Their branding is already all over the parks, transportation, hotels, waterparks, golf courses, walkways, restaurants, shopping centers, lakes, pools..etc etc.

That and I see people asking about "those special iPhones and iPads" cast members use. They have more than enough exposure, especially in WDW.

Rants:
Save SSE - bring back Cronkite!
I am sick of Star Wars...its too much already!
Has anyone ever seen Avatar (ok this AK)...I know its the biggest money maker but no one I know has seen it....lets see what sequels do.
Apple...sick of that too! Please Noooooooooo!
Thought: add some countries and put a decent attraction in each.
G of the G.....please, come on...is that something for generations to come to enjoy?
Coke Station - add regular coke....those other flavors are gross!

Ok, all that having been said, we go back in December to see everything decorated for Xmas...hope it's still nice....did those Osborne lights ever turn up anywhere?

Only a matter of time, only a matter of time before gaming winds up on DCL

Disney just pulled the rights for the use of Star Wars and Marvel thems on slot machines. I think if your tinfoil hat theory was true they wouldn't have done that.

After all, if all they are concerned about is the almighty dollar, the rights are an easy couple of bucks....

Actions speak louder than words. This action indicates a clear rejection by Disney of anything to do with gambling. I agree, those licensing rights are otherwise very low risk for them to make a quick profit. It's a far cry from allowing gambling on a Disney property, but gambling proponents could argue it's an indirect approval. Obviously, they don't want to go anywhere close to there, are are thus holding a bright line. The future may bring something entirely different, but their present intent is unambiguous.
