I hope he gets better, but as they say when you play with Fire, you`re bound to get burned! they will probably destroy the poor tiger,which is sad because it`s not the tigers fault, he was just acting on instict.

I am doubting they will put the tiger down... just because of the media attention to this incident....
The tiger will most likely be retired from the show... and sent to some sort of animal santuary to live out the rest of its life.:wave:

From what I have read, this was the first time the tiger was in a show. Sad.....

Ths tiger has appeared in their show for several yrs. Hese is an quote from the article linked above
"The tiger involved in the attack, a 7-year-old male named Montecore, was quarantined at the hotel, officials said. Feldman said Saturday that although the tiger was called a newcomer during the performance, that was just part of the act and he actually had performed in the show for several years."

I saw the show nearly 4 weeks ago (on a Friday night too) and I was very impressed on how they walk around and tease the tigers and lions during it. I feared it would happen during the show too. Thank God it didn´t, and thank God I didn´t witness this one either!
I hope he gets better soon, and honestly, I don´t think I have seen anyone as brave as these guys are. I am sure this will remind them to be more careful and not forget that even if they treat them as human beings, they are animals that act by instinct.

Roy is responding to questions which is good news. However the shows 250 emplyees have been encouraged to look for other jobs. The show is still on hold indefinitely.

He is still on a ventilator as his neck/throat have been severly damaged. The show is "on hold"/cancelled. They do not know if he will ever be able to perform again. Right now I think everyone is just glad he is still alive. He is responging with hand signals only. Personally I hope he makes a comeback. They are the only illusionists/magicians that I will watch.
