There there Jo Jo the warm weather will be back soon...I hope! :lookaroun

AWESOME! :sohappy:

Yep - I'm ready to 'retire' so to speak. I know I've mentioned this before, but Ab will be heading off to college in 5 years (:cry:), and I want to help out with her expenses some...i.e., obtain some kind of marketable job skill. So I'm seriously considering college courses thru distance learning. Not full time, but 1-2 classes/semester.

Evening all! What a day it was at GMR. Ended up doing 5 shows today (3 with the Gangster, 2 with the Bandit). The 2nd bandit show was a last minute thing, as I finished it 15 minutes before I was scheduled to go home. And the icing on the cake today was: some of the audio in the Gangster scene decided to quit working on us and Maintenance would not let us shut the ride down to fix it. So improvising has been seen at its finest today. :c)

Hey all :wave: anyone home?

No better, huh? I'll bet Opie is all big now... Is he still too "kitten"??

Give him a squish for me!

Actually, they seem to be doing better than the last time. Meow Meow seems to be more tolerant of him in the room, but she keeps her distance and hisses a lot. But, they can both be upstairs now at the same time.

Opie is SO big now! He's such a rascal! He gets into a ton of mischief! I'll be sure to squish him for you! :lol:

Rant here:fork::fork:

I hate being caught in the middle of my sister and my son and my nephew. They are all argueing over furniture. My son is moving out on his own with his gf. (which I do not agree with) This is the son who was in the accident with my other nephew and he was killed.:cry: Well James and Corey was living together as roommates. They were giving couches and a kitchen table. Now my other nephew (who is living with Corey now) Is going to be without things. Corey wants the table. My sister is saying no because they were given to her and my BIL for the boys to use. I am hearing it from both sides. I don't want to hear it and I want them to get along. :brick:

I hope rant is over with now.

Is there any way they can split the stuff given to them? Like one person takes one thing and the other takes the other thing? That would be the most diplomatic thing. And a kitchen table would be easier to get a cheaper version for James. They sell them really reasonablly at Walmart and other places. I'm guessing he doesn't need anything too fancy. (Or Corey could buy a cheaper one at one of those stores as well...they really can be decently priced depending on what he's wanting.)

Corey is on a very tight budget. My sister is still going to tough times from lossing her son. I understand both sides just don't know who to put first or what to say. When I talk to one they use that info to get back at the other one. It would help if the could be adults in this. I can't help Corey out with any funiture because I really don't have the money (That is my WDW money. LOL)

And you shouldn't have to help him with that either. He has to learn to do it himself.

I say they need to look at Craigslist or at garage sales if he wants to find a table then. If they can't get this resolved. You will be able to get it even cheaper than Walmart. And I know money is tight, but sometimes you just have to eat on the floor for the time being. I actually read about a couple who did that in Cosmo yesterday. They didn't have a table yet, so they created like a picnic area and put down a blanket and had picnics every night...they still did them when they wanted to be romantic actually.
