Hello everyone!

We've downgraded from a winter storm to an advisory, but they're saying another possible 2-4" by midnight tonight. :brick: Today is the last calamity day for the kids though, so if they lose another day tomorrow, we're looking at summer makeup days.
Ugh! :(

Morning Jenny! Have you had enough of the kids being under your feet 24/7 yet?

Yeah, just trying to figure out what to do with the rest of my life. I guess when you think you have it all figured out and then that idea just gets totally tossed out, you kind of go into a tailspin....
I know the feeling... Thinking of you.

Thanks Kat! It's honestly because of all the prayer that went into me finding a new job- I really believe that.
:D That's awesome to read!

Joel is definitely feeling the cabin fever, as his stimming has definitely increased lately. Abby seems to spend most of her time catching up on sleep.
Hey Jenn, does Joel (or Abby, for that matter) have trouble falling asleep? Have you ever heard of parents using melatonin to help their kids get on a good sleeping schedule?

Yes, I have a friend that uses that with her autistic son...we've never considered it. He usually just plays with toys or stims till he falls asleep. However, he isn't a sound sleeper, which I've learned when we go on vacation. That's always why where we stay on vacation is such a big deal for us, as Abby can be restless as she sleeps also. The kids each need their own bed. Abby has always had problems with relaxing herself to sleep, from the time she was a newborn. In fact, she is trying to get her sleep schedule rearranged again, as she went to a lock-in Sunday night and stayed up all night. So she spent a lot of yesterday sleeping, and was awake until 3:30 this morning. So I'm going to try to get her up in an hour or so and try to have her stay awake.

I think we have a mobile child :dazzle:

 And we're off to the races!

Uh-huh, I wake up and hear the TV, and I was like, Girl, get your butt to bed. She said I just want to see the American figure skaters!!

Out of the last two weeks, they have been Monday and Friday of last week, and not at all so far this week.

He's been close for awhile. But today he started pulling himself around on his belly w/ those big hands of his. So it's not 'belly off the ground' and not quite 'army crawl'. But I think it counts enough to put in the baby book.

Of course it is! Man, are you in trouble. :p

Well, I can't blame her for that...I love late nights in general and late night Olympics in particular.

Sigh...girls, i have GOT to get my act together. We're halfway through Feb and I haven't achieved any of my goals that I set for self-improvement. My whole life needs an EXTREME MAKEOVER.

Agreed....just this morning my son was sliding down our stairs on his comforter...did I mention he likes to do that head first? He can't go fast enough to hurt himself, so I let it go...he's just taking after his father anyway.

((Hugs)) for you Amy - I haven't focused on personal goals at all, so I feel for you. My pottery wheel is sitting under boxes right now, and my weight...well, just don't like to talk about that one. :dazzle:

LOL, that Joel!

((Hugs)) back at ya Jen. My plans to get organized, make a budget, de-clutter, create a family meal schedule and more family time...all for naught so far. Of the weight thing I also shall not speak. :(

Gugugugug.

Woke up today to feeling WORSE as opposed to BETTER health-wise, which is not how the trend was when I was in Colorado. I assume that coming home to a house full of sickies does not help the situation.

Have a fun afternoon y'all!

Bye Amy!
