I bet, the icy roads are as bad as having a bunch of snow. I can't remember the last time we had this much actual winter weather in KY. Normally it's just cold and rainy.

LOVE the new job! I got to go to Arizona on the 1-2 of this month for a board meeting, it was a lot of work but it was so fun! I LOVE that I finally have a job where I can travel. In June we're going to Sonoma, CA and August Chicago!!! I'm latching on a personal vacation in Chicago after our meeting.

I found the Thirteenth Tale a few weeks ago in hard back in the sale section at Barnes and Noble, I'm going to start reading it soon!

That's so great Samie! I'm so happy for you! And the traveling sounds so fun! What kind of job is it?

Ooo... the Thirteenth Tale... I forgot about that one. It's good. "Dark," but good. It's actually what got me back into my reading kick.

Long story short- There was a guy here doing admin and Board Relations (? not sure what his title actually was) so they were going to split his position into admin (me) and have him do the board stuff. The week before I started, he put in his notice so now I'm doing both like he was. I love it though, it's a lot of work but it's a totally different environment. So the travelling I'm doing is so I can assist with all of our (4 a year) board meetings that are held all over the country.

I'm going to start it this weekend, I'm finally ready for a new book.

Aww thanks! I'm super exicted for the new Alice! I'm pretty good dealing with all the additional work that comes with participating in this Give a Day, Get a Disney day thing, alot of people have never even volunteered before and then this comes out and they come out of the woodwork! Some of our volunteers that my boss said haven't volunteered for us in 10 yrs are suddenly re-appearing, and it's slightly disheartening that this is the only way to get people to help in their community...:shrug:

Hello everyone! :wave:

We've downgraded from a winter storm to an advisory, but they're saying another possible 2-4" by midnight tonight. :brick: Today is the last calamity day for the kids though, so if they lose another day tomorrow, we're looking at summer makeup days.

Yeah, just trying to figure out what to do with the rest of my life. I guess when you think you have it all figured out and then that idea just gets totally tossed out, you kind of go into a tailspin....:shrug:

ME too girl, I will have to post a picture of my new Johnny Mad Hatter coffee cup I bought yesterday! :D

One of my friends volunteered at a school this weekend as part of the give a day.

Joel is definitely feeling the cabin fever, as his stimming has definitely increased lately. Abby seems to spend most of her time catching up on sleep. :rolleyes:

Prayers does amazing things, Samie - I'm so thankful you were able to secure a job you really love. :)

And YES, completely sick of the snow...I honestly can't remember when it's been back to back to back like this. I think this latest round will add another 8-10 to the existing 16" or so. :hammer:Is it July yet?
