Hey Samie, how was your weekend?

It was nice. I didn't get any phone calls from work- just a few emails on Sunday which I will gladly take over being on the phone all day on Saturday :dazzle:- so I slept a lot. I saw the movie "Taken" with Liam Nieson which was really good, but intense.

How about you Steph?

Edit- Hi Jo! :wave:

Glad you didn't get any work calls over the weekend! Was the weather nice by you?
My weekend was good. Saturday went to get a registry going and then ran a few errands. Yesterday, DH drove up to NY to help his parents out w/ their new house and I stayed back to relax....and got completely s u c ked into the Kardashian marathon on E!. :eek: I always watch Talk Soup on Sunday mornings, but it wasn't on that was instead. I'd never watched it before so I decided to watch for a bit. Next thing I know it's 3:00 (I turned the tv on at 10am) and I was STILL watching it...and continued until it was over at 7. *hangs head in shame*
I did do laundry all day during it, so it wasn't a complete waste I suppose.

ME TOO. The weather was awesome here. I had my windows open pretty much all weekend.

Haha I LOVE the SOUP! I watch it on Sundays too. I am not much better, I usually get hooked on "Breakfast in Bed" on Soap net which is One Tree Hill and old 90210. The Kardashians is pretty much the only celebrity/ reality show that I don't watch...not sure why...if it's good I may have to add it to the DVR list.

How did the registry go?

Well I got hooked pretty quick and I usually hate those celeb reality shows.

Registering was fun. Although, even after we scanned everything it didn't seem like we had much on there. :lol: I don't know....baby registering felt a little different than wedding registering. Like it felt strange for some reason. I don't know why. :shrug::lol: But we had fun doing it.

Had my fetal echocardiogram this morning (basically a concentrated ultrasound of his heart). My doc wanted me to have one due to my elevated Downs Syndrome risk. The cardiologist (super, duper nice young doctor) couldn't get a real great view due to the baby's position...and he was quite comfy the way he was and didnt' really want to re-situate. :rolleyes: He even kicked him super hard a couple times, I think he was starting to get a little ticked off (the baby, not the doctor). It's the hardest I've ever felt him kick it was kind of funny.
But everything looked normal from what he could see. Since he couldn't get real detailed shots like he would've liked, he'll come to the hospital after I deliver before we take him home and give him a scan then.

:ROFLOL::ROFLOL: Little stinker!

Babies R Us. I'm here late tonight, so once it slows down I think I'll go on there and tweak it a bit. :)

How do I see your registery on there? :eek:

Glad that it went okay aside from not getting a great view. The baby must not have been in the mood for a doctor visit this morning.

I told the doctor not to take it personally, that he seems to be a little obnoxious when it comes to ultrasounds. I told him that we've already had a couple of stern talks and threats of no Disney World :)
