just had about a million different things ranging from a million different topics on my mind as of lately... sleeping less and less I suppose... :shrug:

I can't sleep with too much on my mind either. It drives me nuts when I can't turn my brain off.

That's exactly what it is... my brain simply doesn't care to shut off and so; I mean it's just impossible to fall asleep when your brain runs constantly...

I was gone all weekend, but some girl I realllllllly thought I had entirely blown it with a few weekends ago apparently was asking about/for me on friday night at my buddy's birthday party...
In all honesty... I wasn't that attracted to her and so when I thought I blew it, I didn't care much...
but it was definitely a confidence builder to know I didn't blow it and maybe there could be something there worthy of looking into...
Excited to go out next weekend, I haven't really gone out and put myself "out there" in about three weeks... so I am definitely excited for next weekend...
granted I'll never find "the one" at a bar because I'm a little girl and don't have the confidence to try and pickup girls...

You know, she might be worth looking into...I once met a girl who was in her late 40's and divorced. She was starting to date again and her daughter made her promise to give each guy who asked her out three dates. She went out with a guy and she was pretty much underwhelmed...but she kept her promise to her daughter and went out on the second date. Then the third. They wound up all married and happy. So, ya never know!
I know confidence is tough...but keep in mind when people go to bars, they're EXPECTING people to hit on them. I mean, you have the rare birds that go out and don't want to be talked to, but honestly, just about every single person in a bar is there to socialize and possibly make a connection.

Uneventful really - kids were/are sick. Plus my uncle passed away and I have calling hours tonight/funeral tomorrow.

Hope the kiddos are feeling better and that everything goes okay tonight.
My weekend was okay. I went to see "Taken" with Liam Nieson which was really good. Other than that I did a lot of sleeping since I didn't have to work this weekend.

Nice! a 4 day week is always good. I painted my kitchen this weekend finally! I alos went to the movies, saw Watchmen; it wasn't bad.

GAH! I wanted to see Watchmen so bad- I was told I had to read the graphic novel before I go see the movie- so I am going to try and read it this week so I can see it this weekend. I may cheat though and see it anyway.

Yeah, I never read Watchmen, but the movie was still entertaining enough. I liked it.
