On a happy note, I got Em's Cognitive Abilities Test Results for Grade 1. She did well - for age she tested in the 88th per centile, and for grade the 96th. (those numbers are the average of three different types of test). So overall her "profile" is an 8 out of a possible 9.

Hi Vince, BTW. Em says next time I see you I'm supposed to ask if you know the Cheetah Girls.
That is great for Em. Give her a big hug and tell her I said "Great job"

You are sooo lucky. I hope you have a great time.

Thanks Susie.
It's a short trip, and we're taking our work with us, but it'll still be nice.

Not Disney Channel, just Disney.

I see...well, I'll be sure to explain the difference. She thinks your soooo cool 'cause you know Tink.

Great smiley! Thanks!

And I'm so excited for your trip! :sohappy: I missed Betty - wonder will she be checking in while she's there?

We are looking at November...it's not practical but we had a family discussion of what it will take to achieve the goal. If we work hard enough we might be able to pull it off.

I am so blessed.

Sometimes, when the stresses of life get to you, you just need to listen to some Dan Fogelberg, and mellow out.....

*sighs*

Love you guys

Well, like the kids in that room that day...
If you were brought up hearing that sort of thing...and you lived in a world where that kind of disrespect was the norm...chances are you're going to grow up with that mindset as well.

That is true.

People who feel that the world owes them. They take and take and give nothing back. They are leeches. Worse, they are monsters. And they are everywhere.

They sure are. :(

Disney... every friggin day...

Lucky!

I hate the entitlement mentality. And it's about to get worse, thanks to that spending bill (uh oh...she's getting political...:lookaroun)

Amen to that! :dazzle:

Hiya Jo!

Have you seen Dadnapped yet? It's really cute. It doesn't premiere until Monday but Verizon on Demand already has it. I don't know why they do that but you can always watch the new Disney Channel stuff before it actually premiers.
