Shooting the Breeze with our Magic Friends

Awesome! If we do go, I will def. get in touch with you prior...Em would flip to meet you, I think I already mentioned how she was mad we didn't hook up last trip..

We should do a Magic Friends trip. It would be difficult to arrange, given varying lifestyles and economic circumstances (mine, not so good! but a Disney trip would sure cheer me up!). I bet if we put Dana in charge she could make it happen.

There have been a few mini ones. I met up with Bonny and Bunny one time. And I also met up with Jess and Dot for a meal once.

But not everyone at once.

I'm... not quite sure what you mean by that...

Eh... Not usually.

It's an old expression. It means...oh, heck you do too know what it means.

So do me a favor, freeze yourself as you are right now until Em is in college. Then she can meet you and I know she will have found a nice boy.

 I don't know how likely that is. My 21st IS in six months... :lookaroun

Oh cool! I definitely would love to meet up with you all. :)

I would love to have a nice big Magic Meet. And I'm sure Dana could get something together!

I hate waking up and feeling like I am as mad as can be at something I don't understand. I don't remember what I dreamt about.:brick: Now I feel like I am mad at the world.:mad: Poor Bob is getting the worst of it now. :o:cry:

Good morning.
Home again.
Our flight home was delayed 2 hours and when it finally did take off it was an incredibly bumpy and scary trip. Horrible.
So...glad to be here and all in one piece, although I did bring home a cold.
I feel crappy and grumpy, so I'll probably come back for some cheering up later.
Lots to do now.
Have a great morning everyone!

That's kind of how I felt when I woke up from my "Brad Pitt is my BFF dream" :lookaroun

Quick good morning!

Welcome home Dot

I need to talk to y'all about the upcoming shower plans....Mike's weekends are sort of in transition mode right now :( - his boss is wanting 2 pharmacists to work every Saturday, because the workload has become so heavy. There's a satellite pharmacy that does refills during the work week to (supposedly) make things easier, so his boss is going to see if they would be willing to take Saturday hours as well. If they can't though, additional staffing on Saturday may become the norm. Mike has actually offered to work every other Saturday, with a HUGE tradeoff being he would not be on-call on the weekend anymore. And obviously, I am all for him dumping the weekend on-call.
The problem is, I just don't know what is going to happen. :shrug:Which is a huge bummer, because at this point I feel like I shouldn't go anywhere till things are straightened out. I don't necessarily have babysitters....only family watches my kids (primarily because they know Joel and his needs best). And they have their own busy weekends with their kids and grandkids. My parents just don't have the physical energy to keep up with my kids for a long period of time.
So I may not know until the very last minute whether I can physically or virtually be there. I will, however, have lots of fun shopping and will send gifts over there no matter what. :D
I hope y'all can understand....sometimes real life is quite annoying. :brick:
