I've seen some really great trip reports recently that have really helped tame my Disney hunger. What are some of your favorite Trip Reports? -- yes, you can list your own.

Maybe a report that helped bring back The Magic in between your trips, or one that gave some good trip planning ideas. I need a good fix before our next trip in a couple years.

This is tough as there are so many great TRs out there.
@coachwnh is an excellent live reporter...not sure which one was my fave.
@fractal has one of my faves... http://forums.wdwmagic.com/threads/...gerated-–-my-august-2011-trip-report.789699/- although one of his later ones, with his mom, was also super entertaining.
@HollyBelle's wedding report was EPIC http://forums.wdwmagic.com/threads/...-disney-wedding-honeymoon-trip-report.740187/
***And all of this is just a small fraction of some of the great reports out there.

As for my own, while the There's Something About Mary one was pretty popular, it's one I really don't like to look at. The whole thing just evokes too many bad memories of the accident that caste a shadow over the trip. I think Let Them Eat Cake is my fave since the surprise was just so awesome, but the pics are in the old format and aren't fully visible. So, I'm going with In Search of the Purple Cat. http://forums.wdwmagic.com/threads/in-search-of-the-purple-cat-other-wild-goose-chases.856533/

Some of the folks here can really write some great reports. I'll be honest, I get lazy when it comes time to write them. Plus, I don't really keep track of what we do each day down to the exact time and ride. I prefer to just mentions a few things and toss out some photos.

Heck, we got back almost three weeks ago from our April trip and I haven't even thought about whipping up a report.

I'll chime in because I enjoy reading Trip Reports almost as much as I enjoy writing them.

At the major risk of leaving some out here are a few of my favorite TR writers;

@HollyBelle has several amazing reports filled with details,humor and great pictures. Her wedding report is one of the best ever.
@sweetpee_1993 always entertaining, down to earth and funny.
@ShookieJones are always fun and i can relate to his teenager angst and challenges.
@coachwnh is the best at "live" reports
@Disneyfalcon because of the variety ( WDW,DLR,cruises) and amazing photos.
@prfctlyximprct Her reports more than any other exude pure Disney love and fun!
@HouCuseChickie for rich details.
@gwhb75 I love because of the writing style and dry sense of humor.

and others;

@MEyeSeeKayEY @Uncle Lupe (hilarious) @FlaggNL @derelicte19 writes great reports even if she doesn't finish them ;) and @blackthidot

Sorry for those I missed. Writing a trip report for me is a big part of the experience of a Disney trip. Hopefully I'll be writing another soon.

Thanks, Fractal! I'll give a shout out right back at you for your reports. They're excellent!

@fractal had one I loved returning to, awhile back. My favorite trip reports are always those that include some humor/snark, and that give a good play-by-play of attractions or restaurants, so I can glean touring/dining tips from them that I can apply to our own trips.

I also love to re-read my two -- not because I'm narcissistic, but because I tend to so quickly forget everything we did, what worked for us and what didn't, and what things I wanted to remember to try next time. :) It also helps stave off the hankering for another visit by allowing me to relive the last one(s).

What a great thread!

I read trip reports everyday when having my lunch at work and over the past few years I've read some fantastic reports.

I've saved some of the links / reports above so I can read these over the coming weeks and hopefully more links will follow.

I'ts particularly nice to read 'completed' reports as it can be quite frustrating when you get hooked on a great report only for it not to be finished.

Wow! Ain't you just the sweetest?!

I feel like such a heel because I have so little time for keeping up with reports anymore. I'm just now beginning to scrawl out our short Disneyland trip from January so I can get onto the 14-night Disney cruise we just completed a week ago. Ah-mazing!

I've been thinking of you wondering if this was your summer to choose the destination. ;)
