On my latest trip to Walt Disney World, this month, I noticed that the Seven Dwarves Mine Train was temporarily closed quite often. Anyone have insight as to why this particular ride is so frequently closed?
I had suspected it was as such, however we had quite consistently clear weather on our trip and it was still closed for some time, though that may be the reason on many occasions.outdoor rollercoaster... does not run when raining/wet

They are clearly cutting back on the dwarfs hours.I had suspected it was as such, however we had quite consistently clear weather on our trip and it was still closed for some time, though that may be the reason on many occasions.
They must not be reaching their quota on diamonds.....They are clearly cutting back on the dwarfs hours.

Heads up @PhotoDave219. I think ford91explorer hijacked your account.Because it's Disney?

Rain might be an issue for some older coasters, but unless there's lightning in the area, most roller coasters (at least at Disney) are able to operate normally. I mean, rain doesn't effect Expedition Everest.
If it's raining hard they usually shut them down. For a lighter rain no but a hard rain they do.![]()

BTMRR broke down while I was on in Paris, and they told us it was common that it broke down, and people had to be evacuated, Atleast 3 times DAILY. Even though it's not as bad here, it is Atleast better than Paris.Rides go down constantly. Fact of life.
Ah, that was never our policy when I worked Everest, but that was the only outdoor roller coaster I ever worked.

Maybe EE does not but I have never tried to ride that one in pouring down rain. Haha! But maybe the technology on 7DMT with the swinging cars and such is an issue with really heavy rain. Who knows! Lol![]()
Because it's Disney? That's kind of rude. Not everything breaks down frequently.
