Not only is the extra set of walls down that they had around Enchanted Tales with Belle, it almost looks like the either ripped up the pathway, or completed it all the way to Mermaid.

I thought one of our insiders said the shop was scraped at the back but I could be remembering wrong!?! Which surprises me because I can't believe they would build a "big", new ride and it not have a themed gift shop! I guess there will be a cart or something of sorts near the ride!?!

(Where was the pic of the gift shop on the back? I thought for sure I had seen either some concept art or a model of what was back there...)

Here is the back of the mine ride from the model. You can see the buildings themes to Mermaid and as far as I know they are still doing this. Not sure exactly what they will contain. If there are going to be any Seven Dwarfs related shops they would be on the other side of the mountain.

Yeah, it looks like the concrete work is done all the way back to the Mermaid M&G, then there is a wall with a gate, so it looks like that will be a dead end for a while.

I thought we had a layout of the inside of the building and there was no gift shop - correct me if I'm wrong!
I think we had speculative layouts....but nothing officially released from Disney. Im just working off past experience with newer attractions. They dump you out in a gift shop.

The small striped tent was rumored to be the fast pass distribution for LM and the other building was rumored to be a LM gift shop but mor likely part of the ride maintenance area for mine train.

I don't think those will be part of ride maintenance. If you look at the earlier picture of the foundation you can see a large area that is actually below grade behind the lift hill which I assume is the ride maitenance area. Beyond that area there is space beyond the concrete walls where these buildings could go.

Everything looks amazing!

Does anyone know until where the new pavement will extend to? Around the Tea Cups I mean.
Considering they gave Cheshire Cafe a new more rustic color scheme a while ago, it should also be part of the forest.

Yes, thank you - that was the picture I was talking about. And honestly I have no idea, I just thought I could remember reading something about this not going ahead now but I could be remembering wrong or confusing it with something else.

Oh, I agree... that's why I'm surprised we haven't seen or heard anything about a gift shop, unless the gift shop on the back of the SDMT will be built eventually.

I like the look of the gift shop (and FP distribution) in the model. I hope something like this or similar is built after it's all said and done, I think it will complete the Little Mermaid area.

They may just go with a limited themed gift area like they had with SWSA with some added mine train themed items

What's going on in the Friar's Nook area? I cropped and blew it up a little.

It's hard to tell but there's more work being done back there than just on old Snow White. Looks like concrete work maybe...? Or...? Anyone have any info on this? Surprised me to see something going on back there!

Concrete work mostly, to convert it from the pink walkway to the new Fantasyland Forest type walkway. I believe that over time, the rest of the pink/black walkway down to the Teacups will be replaced with the newer brown themed walkway (with hoof prints, wagon tracks, etc).

Anyone wondering whether or not Beast's Castle's water feature will be turned on for the 11/19 previews through the opening of the SDMT? There would have to be some sort of barrier right? I saw a yellow construction fence down under the bridge so there's hope that it will be on...
