A new preshow announcement is being recorded as we speak.

"Due to endless unexplainable chanting Fantasmic has been cancelled for this evening. We apologize for this inconvenience."

LOL
I don't remember chanting at Disney World during my past three trips there. Can anyone explain to me the problem with it?

They are referring to tour groups of many nationalities, including American, marching through the parks and chanting, celebrating, enjoying themselves in a manner that is disruptive to everyone else.

Any time you get that many teenagers together, no good can come of it.

If iphones get banned along with IPads. Then what will happen to the "My Disney Experience App" which is helpful for finding various Disney characters around the parks and when they are out?
I don't think anyone is suggesting that they be banned. They're not a safety issue like the selfie sticks. People just look like doofuses (doofi?) when they hold their iPad up like a video camera.

I was just there, and believe me this is a good decision! They cause so much more congestion in the walkways where people with those very long sticks just stop right in front of you. It truly is a "selfish" device because no one pays any attention to anyone else while using them!
I remember entering Tommorowand during my Senior Trip and a couple blocked my way to the place. I was trying to go on Space Mountain but they we're to busy caring about their Selfies!

I rememeber seeing a group of girls who I think are from Brazil or Hispanic. Becuase I remember them all wearing Minnie Mouse hats and we're singing some song from a different language. I had to hear them sing for almost 20 minutes while waiting for our bus to "Disney All-Star Sports Resort" after leaving Downtown Disney.

Yes. Those are some of the people in question.

On the other hand? They are having a great time. And they're very happy to be at Disney.

This is the classic problem with allowing cameras. You get the idiots ruining it for everyone. Unfortunately, you are the exception, not the rule.

Most people have no idea how to turn off the flash and constantly have their bright LCD screen on, ruining the ride for others. Most people aren't careful or respectful of their surroundings, so my solution is to just ban them.

Seriously, it's so bad sometimes. Especially on "shared" rides like Pirates, Small World, and even the Haunted Mansion because it's so dark.

My ride on POTC was completely ruined because of some idiot in the row directly in front of me taking photos, including one where she turned all the way around with the flash right in my eyes. I yelled "Please no flashes". They just looked at me and continued anyway. Went back later to ride again where I could actually get to enjoy the ride.

Same exact thing happened to me on POTC. I told a cast member at the end and was escorted to the front of the line for a re-ride.
