I'm almost done - it's just tedious, and I doubt that I'll get the job anyway, since I'm very qualified and perfect for the position.

Morning, Dot & Betty! I'm here...just shopping for photographers. :king: DF's sis says that's one thing we need to get set ASAP. I guess they book up pretty quick and it's one area where you don't want to "scimp" since they're what you'll have forever.

I'm irritated because it was pouring when I went to get in my car, and I had my hair all nice and straightened. And now it is a huge fro!

Odds and ends.
Starting to organize the little things, which really brings home that we're getting so close.
So. . .
Lauren brought over all the things from her house that we need for the big day. Yesterday, I opened the box that has her ring in it and showed it to George. And I think that was his defining moment. He was looking at his daughter's wedding ring and it was all really real.
My friend Judy has a bet with George. If he cries. . .even a glint of a tear. . .he has to take Judy out to breakfast. If he doesn't cry, Judy bakes him her amazing butter cake. I think Judy's gonna have breakfast. . .
I don't know - that cake sounds pretty good....

I think you're right - I know dave will be a blubbering fool when DD gets married!
Anyway - got to get back to this stupid application so I can drop it off today. Maybe someday they'll discover e-mail and the internet....

Awwww - that reminds me of the first time Dad saw me in my dress, wedding day morning. He had his mouth held together so tight, and I KNEW he wanted to shed a tear. Which almost made me lose it.

I am mad at this school district. At the beginning of June my youngest DD brought home her report card and it said she didn't pass the 3rd grade. Well I called the school to see if I could get her to summer school or hold her back. They told me there was a mistake on her report card and she did pass. I was not happy because she still only passed with very low grades. Well now she is really failing 4th grade with horrible grades. and they want to put her in special ed. classes. I am saying no. I told them I didn't trust the system and told them about the report card. The assistant Prin. told me "We have certain policies to go by and she passed all of them, so we had to pass her." I looked at them and now she is really struggling and you say to put her in this program. They told me" Well it isn't really special ed. and we can have a meeting to see if she needs to stay in." Again I looked at them (there were 4 of them. plus me) I said what if I want to get her out. I know I have rights but face it there are 4 of you and only 1 of me. Who do you think is going to win.:brick:

My son called me this morning with a cough and sore throat.
