Seasonal Multi-Day Ticket Pricing Coming Soon

Then they need to work on changing their ticketing systems. There is no need for people to line up for the majority of tickets. Want to add an extra day, you should be able to use the App or just tap at a kiosk and buy it. I'm really surprised there isn't more self-service tools available.
Also with the way FPs now need to be pre-booked, buying a ticket at the gate puts those guests at a disadvantage, Disney should at least be upselling the benefits of pre-purchasing tickets and making will-call easier.

That would not give them the amount or control they want over media.

They do not want that stuff over WiFi or towers...they cost too much - which means there’s too much hack/scam potential.

I’ve always thought they should only accept gold pressed latinum for tickets...easier than way 😛

Umm, you can already purchase tickets on the website?

Yeah...but who ships the vouchers and where do you pick them up?

And if you want to upgrade them...where do you do it? That’s all by design to try to stop resellers/discounters

I'm starting to fear a 9 day ticket with hopper is going to cost more than our hotel stay - at a deluxe!!!

We're almost there right now. My neighbor and I priced out hotels about a week ago, and a 7-day Park Hopper for 4 "adults" is already more than 7 nights at a moderate, in June 2019. I recently bought two 7-day Park Hoppers for my mom and niece and it was $490 each ($1023.70, including sales tax). $510 for a 9-day Park Hopper.

Price it for just one person staying in the room and see if the cost of the ticket is more than the room.

lets play devils advocate lets say we can reinvest in parks and really rotation the vision back BUT we need to upsell and upcharge the opps out of the place? deal with the devil?

Obviously not, but how often does only one person stay in a WDW resort room for a week? There are some, without a doubt. Does anyone know the overall or annual average occupancy of a WDW resort room?

Wasn't towards ya :) They will have a massive problem they don't seem to want to address or acknowledge.

In this we agree...and Just to clarify so I don’t have to hear it again in 2 years about the new Uruguay Pavilion Rumor...

I have a problem with the Contention that mgm can even fit 20,000,000 annual visitors. Let alone that their 7 attractions have a prayer.

It cannot. It’s like trying to fit a soccer crowd of 150,000 into a 42,000 seat baseball stadium. Time and space still do matter in Park design...you can’t “imagineer” that.

Yep.

They needed refreshed shows BEFORE SW. Not to mention TSL was something they should have added back in 2008, not 2018. They didn't even pad it out enough, IMO. Sure the two rides are nice additions, and minorly help, but not in the way it should have.

They definitely botched the "re-do" of the corpse known as MGM.

We shouldn't be going into 2019 with dated stage shows, a dated night show, lackluster fireworks ... sure what's coming is flashy and "nice and new" ... but they can't really stop the investment in this park. There's still a lot of issues, but I think they view the park as "fixed". Which I highly disagree with. (Not that they can't, in their cost containment mind-frame, save these for later, which they clearly are, but the money should have long been spent ...)

I'd just like to know that money will keep being spent here. Plans seem to loosely exist but we know how that goes.

Holy Hannah... MK can barely handle 20 million annual visitors. I cannot imagine what TPFKATDMGMS would look like with that many visitors. That is basically double that TEA reported last year at that park. There's just no way...

I know...they didn’t expand the actual pathways...there’s no physical room.

And the 5 new rides...two very low capacity...have no shot.

It would be like a school of sardines...who can’t get into the lines because the rides can’t hold 20% of the crowd.

Not exactly the brilliance of themepark design...and good luck getting a table at Sci-Fi

Sardines would laugh hysterically at that many dumb humans in DHS. :hilarious:

You keep forgetting about the new Lightning Mc"Screenz": Racing Academy experience coming to DHS. It'll be able to hold over the other 10mil people who can't get into SW:GE.

Given the awesome efficiency and reliability of WDWs booking system, I can't help but think that this would cause the whole system to implode about a minute after it was implemented.
Lol, if we are really lucky.

Looks like a dumb idea has found a friend in Disney

So reading all of your conjecture (thanks) - we are planning to stay at Boardwalk in spring 2020 for 9 nights. I'm thinking we should plan 3 DHS days (which normally we would never do). One for Star Wars, one to do Toy Story and one to do the rest.

I'm only half kidding.

Oh, and of course purchasing the ultimateamazingcantbebeatanytimeanyparkticket -with hoppers.
