Great layouts so far!

Here is mine - it's on Main Street, but the street itself is not the subject - I hope that's OK.

Also, the colours are not really my choice, but I was trying to match up the reds and oranges in the pictures.

So pretty! The colors you used are perfect! They pull out the colors in Bert's jacket. The layout reminds me of a soundtrack album cover from the early 60s. Perfect for Poppins...and Main Street!

I love that layout, Minnie. There are so many things that I think are great--the colors for one as uponastar said, but also the fact that you arranged all three photos and then made that grouping look like a single photo with the photo corners. It's all wonderful!

I was thinking the same thing. I'm getting a little nervous to actually work on my page because I'm not sure mine will be nearly as wonderful as these.

i don't know how to put multiple quotes here.

but i so agree with what everyone says.

i love the grouping to make it look like one photo with the photo corners.

love the colors and the flowered/polka dot text, and the smaller white text. i agree it looks like a album cover.

this is really great! love it!

you got the theme just fine. i see the street in the big pic with mary poppins. so it looks like the characters were on the street. anyway, who cares, the layout is awesome.

now you traditional folks better get working and posting!

Thanks for the comments everyone!

I must say, I find digital scrapping much easier than traditional, although I would like to do more traditional. I seem to plonk everything down together and then move them around until I find something I like. You can't do that with traditional, it would be much too expensive! :brick:

I wish I could get a plan in my head of what I wanted to do, but I seem to get scrappers' block, and then I make it up as I go along! The other thing I like to do is to scraplift from someone else's layout! :o

I have been trying a bit of cardmaking in the last few weeks, and although I enjoyed it, it is much more fiddly and time-consuming than doing it digitally.

Eagles, about multi-posting...
See the little box with the quotation marks in the corner of each post box?
Click on as many of those as you like...each one will turn orange when you click it...when you chose the last post you'd like to quote, click "quote" as you normally would. All of the checked posts will appear together in the reply box.

Wow, uponastar, that is a beautiful page. I remember that picture from a photo contest or something. I really like it. I love the colors you used and your title, I also love your journaling about it. Great job!

Minnie, I love your page as well. I,too, love how you used the photo corners to make all the pictures seem as one. I also really love the colors. I agree that they really do match Bert's jacket. It's fabulous!

Thanks so much!
I'm still in awe of those who do "regular" scrapbooking. I wouldn't know where to begin.

And I think you digital gals are so neat for being able to do it all with your computer. :)

Thanks so much!

:ROFLOL: just testing. thanks so much, now that is so simple.

this past week i so wanted to do a traditional page. but i did not know where to start. i picked out a couple papers for background and decided to scan them to do my layout on the computer, (just so i would know where to place my pics) well i got the paper laid out, then i scanned this and scanned that, added my pics added the text, and finally said, oh what the heck, it was a complete digital page why not just print it. so i did not do the traditional one.

but here it is saturday morning, and i still see no traditonal layouts? whats up with this ladies?

Hey, I still have a couple of other pages to complete before I can work on this week's challenge. But I do have my pics all set to go. I just have to decide what paper I want to use and how I want to do this.

Those look great Coree! I have that paper too I think. The gold photo corners are the perfect color!

watch out, they might not be gold, they are probably silver. :ROFLOL:

but seriously, i love your photo corners. i like your paper used and i like the stars. good job coree, oh i see you journaled! you are so brave.

Thanks! Yes, they're gold photo corners.

And yes, I journaled, but I hate every minute of it. I really need to type on the computer and print it out when put that on my page. My handwriting is just yucky and I always end up making a mistake somewhere.
