Sci Fi or 50s Prime time

We haven't been to either and thought we would add one to our ressies for dec.

Looking for something unique (atmophere) which both have.

Thoughts?

DH and I always enjoy Sci-Fi and both of them they are something you should do at least once. I would say Sci-Fi or if you can do both! :)

My DH likes the burgers and the steak from there, and if you like pasta the pasta dish you can choose with either chicken or shrimp is really good. I get the pasta every time we go. Apps and deserts are really good too. Oh and my DH can't go without having an Oreo shake! Delicious! I know people may disagree with the food but we know good food and we have never had any complaints. Atmosphere is really cool too. :)

I'm going to be a pessimist...neither...we've ate at both and it's pretty much just average food...if I had to pick one though, I'd pick primetime as it reminds me of diners from where i grew up in Jersey...if you have kids then Sci Fi might be a better choice.

We've been to both, multiple tries, and we've never been pleased or impressed with Sci-Fi. We enjoy 50's and the antics of our aunts, uncles, and cousins. There really is something for everyone on 50's menu.

We've done 50's multiple times and enjoyed it each time. We haven't tried Sci-Fi because we keep reading hit or miss reviews (although more miss reviews than most other WDW restaurants it seems).

If you are wanting a very atmospheric setting, choose Sci-Fi Dine In.
The interior setting cannot be beat, and photos do not do the ambiance justice. Try it..you will like it !
Good food, great novelty setting...and the 45 minute film loop of retro 50s/60s ads and cartoons is also a hoot.

I like the 50s Prime Time as well, but the setting is not as unique. You can sit in your kitchen and eat in front of the tv at home...if you catch my drift.
The 50s has excellent food, but the main attraction is *playing a role* and interacting with your server.
You are the *kids* being served by your * cousin*...while *Mom* is in the kitchen cooking your food.
Some folks are not overly keen on the play factor at 50s, but i find it a lot of fun. The CMs are great !

I've been to both a few times each. 50s has the better food. Sci-fi has a really cool atmosphere and it might not be around forever.

Sci Fi does have a cool atmosphere, but I would say that out of the two, 50s atmosphere is way more fun! The food is good, and it has a very cool theme. My sister got in trouble with the waitress for having her phone out at the dinner table! :hilarious:
