Sci Fi or 50s Prime time

I just had the worst meal at Sci-Fi in June. The chef couldn't handle an allergy, the food was cold and the beer was warm.Haven't been to 50's in a while but it was ok

In our experience, the atmosphere in both is terrific, but the food is not.

If visiting either of these eateries (both are immersive and fun -- go to 50's if you want to chat with your companions, and Sci-Fi if you'd prefer to take a break from socializing and watch some film clips in the dark), I suggest making a reservation late in the afternoon, long after you've eaten lunch, for the sole purpose of buying a milkshake or a light appetizer, and soaking up the ambiance.

These are both must dos for me.
I think it depends on how much you want to participate. If you like to ham it up and be silly, go to 50s. If you want to sit back in a super immersive environment, go to Sci Fi. The food isn't stellar at either one (though I LOVE the pot roast at 50s) so go for the one you think you'll have more fun in.
