To all those who don't like this topic tuff __ & stop reading. Now since we are bumped I will add that ya its really sad to see things like the chairs just sitting outside molding away. I am going to try to swing by this week to see if I can see anything at all or if I notice any movement or changes inside. Thing is...I understand that you love the AC and all that but it really is a past attraction..and whether it was moved back to News and Rumors really does not change that.
The fact that chairs are just sitting outside being ruined proves that.:shrug:
So, yes..I understand that people do not have to read this thread if they do not like it or have no interest in it but what is the point of whining and crying that it is in past attractions?..It still will not change that fact and it still is not coming back..kinda like Horizons and Mr.Toad..sad but true.

Hey, I've always said they should keep the AC and CW. My only issue would be that they have family content at least before a certain hour. They are perfect for what I think is the right direction for the new DTD to go.
But no sense opening that can of worms. Is it possible they are rethinking the closures now?:shrug:

So despite the fact that many of the threads in News and Rumors are mostly just really General Discussion? Despite the fact that this thread is still producing news and rumors, it should be relegated to Past Attractions come hell or high water? So every time Steve posted an update of Horizons demolition, he should have kept it in Past Attractions, huh?
One of three things is going to happen with the Adventurers Club. It will be demolished, repurposed, or reopened. Once that happens, if this thread isn't in News and Rumors, someone's just going to start a new thread there, instead of just adding to this one. I believe it was Jakeman made a great point about us being very civil by keeping our discourse to this single thread. And by golly, if the Club reopens somehow, that will be major NEWS for the 'SAVE THE ADVENTURERS CLUB' thread!
All any of you are doing when you insist that this should be moved to Past Attractions is crushing an Adventurers spirits a little. Is that really what you want to accomplish? Is that how you get your jollies? Because that's all that's happening as a result.

Why bother? If you're done with this thread, you won't see him anymore because this is the only one if posts in.

I'd would like to first of all thank the moderators for returning the thread to "WDW News and Rumors"! I know we all do hope that one day someone will post the news that the revolving doors will be unlocked at 7:00 PM and the New Member Induction Ceremony will begin at 7:15, and I'm greatful that we have a visible thread to post such news in. Secondly, I would like to ask that we try not to attack each other and have this thread moved again, or worse closed due to the mud slinging that has occured in the past. I'm not reprimanding anyone, it is just that I hope to see that this thread may still do some good in the battle to get our Adventurers Club back to where it belongs at 5189 Hill St. Lake Buena Vista, FL!

Yeah.I do not get my jollies from a Disney board..sorry..and if you really get upset because it is in a past attractions thread on a Disney forum then that is your own issue to deal with..not mine.
I also never suggested this be moved anywhere at all..or tried to crush anyone's spirit..I only said what I did because of the conversation between the 2 previous posters and just saying what I felt..which I am entitled to do.
I could really care less if it came back, never came back, if you tied yourself to the club or whatever..I read some of what was going on and posted what I chose to post..no jollies, no trying to have anything moved and no crushing of anything...:wave:

Agreed in full, my friend. I am by no means a full blown AC fan, but it's nice to see this thread, and nice to see a effort being made about it.

Sorry, just feeling a little persecuted. I just don't understand to push to have this moved when it's a lot more relevant to News and Rumors than a lot of the other threads.

Because I only spend about 5 minutes each day checking the forums (at 6am while I eat breakfast). Because of that, I rarely get past News and Rumors. So, when this thread disappears for a week (relegated to PA) I grow forlorn. Then, poof! it comes back and I go - HEY AC news, it's going to be a great day! I read the couple pages that happened while it was away and even the lack of credible news is OK by me. It shows that there is still support and hope out there for an attraction that has meant more to me than I can express. So, thanks for getting it moved to Past and thanks for getting it back. Now, can't we all just get along.
By the way, who else loves getting the former AC actors to drop out of character a little when you see them in another show and give them a salute?
