Now that Parks and Resorts has new leadership, letters to Tom Staggs may help.

Also, has anyone else been following the Lights of Winter thread? Looks like Disney has cheesed off yet another group, everyone has a breaking point...

I assume that was built on an existing game format. Much work went into that and it's much appreciated. Thank you and looking forward to the finished product. Anything that extends the fun of the now closed AC is clearly worthwhile despite what those ' about this thread who want to focus instead on cartoons may think.

THE coolest moment in AC history.. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=IIYFa9SgTpc

It happened before.... on a night when "Otis" was being moved to another role.

Ugh, still missing this place horribly.

That CG build is freaking phenomenal! I've never seen anything done quite so nice, and accurate, and it isn't even finished. Just...WOW!

Yeah. It looks like it was built off a custom level maker for Half Life 2.

If this isn't even the finished product, then my expectations are getting pretty high.

The bump that ended it!

Thanks hack2112 for finally ending this thread and sending it to yesterland.

It's happened before. Hathaway has won it as well.

Not sure why you consider me uncivil when I simply gave an opinion. Perhaps it's because my opinion is not to your liking. I consider an attraction/venue thats been closed for over a year and is auctioning everything inside it off to be a Past Attraction. I merely suggested moving it so that those of you who still want to discuss this past attraction will forever have a place to discuss said attraction. If it's get-togethers or personal experiances you want to discuss then it's also my opinion that it should be done in the chit-chat section of the boards. I have great respect for all the moderators on this board and I certainly do not want to offend them, I do, however think that certain discussions belong in their appropriate places in/on a discussion board.

i don't get these complainers. no one is holding a gun to their heads making them click. This thread isn't taking up valuable space in their home. It's not making time w/ their significant other. It's not getting into their wallets. Some just really need to complain.

Bumping a thread every other day... that is a year and a half old... and that is really no longer relevant in news and rumors, is a bit of a annoyance. :-\

No doubt that this thread was relevant back when it started.

Unfortunately the club is long gone with no chance of it coming back to WDW... so it was way overdue for this thread to be moved to 'past attactions'. :)

Also.. posting in all BOLD... annoying.:p;)

I agree...nobody is forcing anybody to read the thread. And technically it shouldn't be considered a past attraction as long as the building is standing and there are still artifacts up...if that's the basis for moving a thread then any thread about Horizons should instantly be moved to past attractions right?

Probably more likely they dont want PI, CW, and AC posts to interfere with the bombardment of the LoW discussion on the parks blog. I like the human arch and handing out buttons on the path to WS ideas. Good ideas all if you want to end up in a back room with Dan Cockerell and Disney Security

It ia sad that one or two posters have this kind of an opinion of a thread that has survived on the board for over a year and a half, is the most viewed thread (155,744 views) and second most replied to thread (1,234 replies) on the "WDW News and Rumors" board, and yet their opinions seemes to have ruined it for the many other posters that actually care about this thread. It is also disgusting how they take such glee in their supposed "victory":

The bump that ended it!

Thanks hack2112 for finally ending this thread and sending it to yesterland.

I believe that the figures I've listed above alone give the thread both credibility and relivance to being a current topic and therefore belongs in the "WDW News and Rumors" section. As it has been pointed out:

. . .technically it shouldn't be considered a past attraction as long as the building is standing and there are still artifacts up...if that's the basis for moving a thread then any thread about Horizons should instantly be moved to past attractions right?

and like so many level heaed people have tried to point out to these individuals:

i don't get these complainers. no one is holding a gun to their heads making them click. This thread isn't taking up valuable space in their home. It's not making time w/ their significant other. It's not getting into their wallets. Some just really need to complain.

So, I humbly and respectfully ask the board moderators to return this thread to the "WDW News and Rumors" section where it belongs, for there are still rumors about the Adventurers Club's reopening. Also, as I'm sure we all know, Disney does visit these boards, and I believe our healthy interest in this beloved attraction may still change their minds as long as this thread is in a highly viewed area i.e. "WDW News and Rumors" and not in a setion in which there are only three topics, two of which now deal with the Adventurers Club, i.e. "Past Attractions".

Please return this thread to it's propper place among the "WDW News and Rumors".

yes, freeing space on a message board thread has to be every bit as valuable as freeing valuable real estate for badly needed shopping/dinign in a recession by leveling a truly unique building which formally provided the best entertainment imaginable <major league eyeroll>

I'd kind of like to know why this thread was moved, which is still producing news and rumors on a fairly regular basis, when threads like the Eddie Sotto one (don't get me wrong, it's a wonderful conversation) has long been squarely within the purview of General Discussion. Not to mention the numerous 'All *insert theme park here*, All the Time' threads, which all just turned into random musings, if they didn't start that way to begin with. So could the moderator responsible please explain your reasoning behind the move? Or is this thread going to just be ignored now and I'll have to PM Steve for an answer?

Two things...first it looks like we're back...and second since we like the news and rumors...how sad is it that a friend shot me some pictures of some of the chairs of the AC just sitting outside collecting rain drops and almost being delegated to a life of decaying in the Florida sun...very sad.
