I hope!

I dont know, but I hope this is true! I love Samantha and her specials, they are amazing! Check out the Travel Channel maybe they will have something about it on her page...

I SO HOPE THIS IS TRUE! I would love a new Disney Special since there hasn't been any new ones for about 2-3 years. And Samantha Brown doing it is even better:)

I used to get excited about new Disney specials, but it's hard for me to get excited anymore because they usually all suck. The last time Samantha Brown had a "Disney" special, it was that pathetic 5 year anniversary show that merely took place at WDW. But 90 percent of the show was flashbacks to different clips of her work over the years, periodically going back "live" to Disney for about 20 seconds. And it's impossible anymore to see any special that's just about WDW. Anymore, by the time you throw in DisneyLand, DVC, Richard Petty Driving experience, or other silly things that have little to do with WDW, there isn't much left to watch that's truly WDW (yes, I know the Richard Petty Driving experience technically is, but if you didn't know it was taking place there, you wouldn't know the difference between it and a racing show on TV).

She made a Favorites over the years special that covered her favs and fan favs last Feb. but I have not heard of anything new as of yet. I'm suprized with all the construction that they would even consider a new special, I would think they would wait a year or so.

I have to agree with you.

It is hard to get excited about any new shows because they all seem to be rehashes.

Why don't they spend more time showing off the resorts?

Agreed, however the dude who hosted the Christmas Special on HGTV was absolutely awful. I think his main purpose was just to make sure that EVERYONE he spoke with in Disney World knew he did not like girls. I could care less who or what he is into but the special was about Disney...not you flaunting all over the place.
