Sad news for MK

While on a quick 4 day trip to WDW I found out a very disturbing piece of information. While at MK we made a stop one afternoon as we always do for a ice cream cookie sandwich at the Main Street Ice Cream Shop. I was looking at the sign and noticed that there was nothing about the cookie sandwich so I asked the CM for one with mint chip ice cream. She told me that they do not have them there. I asked when they discontinued them and was told about 2 weeks ago . You can still get the prepackaged tollhouse ice cream cookie sandwich, but those will never be as good as the ones made right in the ice cream shop. I believe this requires a letter to the mouse!

O this just in: Dole pulled sponsership, and the Dole Whips will be discontinued next week. :drevil:

Seriously, Menus are always re-worked, often times favorites come back, so I wouldn't loose all hope.:wave:

I REALLY enjoyed this as well.

You can get them made to order at Sleepy Hollow Treats, right next to the castle as you cross the bridge, but the ones on Main Street were bigger and a little better for whatever reason.

I'm not going to scream from the rafters, but emailing Guest Communications isn't a bad idea. Give me a link and I'll send something along with ya.

I was at POFQ last week and I can tell you that the cookie sandwiches are still there. And they were awesome! They were considered a dessert on the dining plan so I had 3 of them while there. YUMMY! Now I really miss being there!
