First I heard of it was around 18 months ago. By then it was GMR bound.

If only... what a great ADDITION it would have been with GMR still there and 2 more lands along with some other pluses but I will stay positive and hope that when 2020 rolls around DHS (or DHA) will be solid park and not a half day park.

Okay I have to ask, does someone now in WDW have stock on indoor coaster companies? Why is every new ride seeming to include a new indoor coaster?(yes this is somewhat rhetorical......somewhat...).

any chance a different show gets put in if F! gets removed for a ride?

Thanks for the info. To be honest I always felt like that amphitheater was a poorly designed afterthought (even for DHS). I enjoy F! but that area has always been terrible for guest flow and it feels like you walk 2 miles just to get there. A redesign of the F! plot and Theater of the Stars could go a long way in this park and provide a lot of opportunity for attractions.

In all honesty, Tron (this one) was earlier proposed for DHS.

It should have not been visible from Sunset in theory.

This is why I guessed Tron over the GotG coaster

I was going to say that it probably got axed from DHS because of proximity to a similar ride in RnR but then Space Mnt...

I genuinely can't fathom how they could have justified removing Fantasmic to replace it with the Tron ride. The redevelopment of Studios is something I'm going to want a large coffee table book about down the road when all is said and done.

If you were asking about my RoA reference it was mentioned as it could be a place for Fantasmic if they removed it from DHS for an expansion.
