What do you have against Phil that you know first hand to be his fault? Don't always believe everything you read online. Phil doesn't have all the control of where the MK funding goes.

While that's true...What I have read is the allocation of funds he could have pushed for ,specifically refurbs. MK is WDW's flagship park and should be treated as thus.

See, now THAT I would be sad over. Hardworking CM's that are fired for no reason is wrong. A exec who reportedly shot down every budget for a refurb that was needed and badly( Space Mtn) kinda is. It's all politics.:lookaroun:lol:

Remember these are things you have READ. And in many cases, they are third, fourth and fifth hand, if you are lucky. There are very few people who really know what goes on right at that level. There are some here, and they may post about it. In the main though, the people that really know whats going on don't publically post. That means a heck of a lot that you read online is chinese whispers and people looking to direct their aggravation at an individual. The fact that MK isnt being treated the way you would like does not lie in the hands of Phil, it comes from above.

First, I don't know this person and as someone has said I would not know him if I walked into him, nor can I support him, but also remember this, when Isner first started his job he did alot of good, then as time went by things went south so to speak and everybody was tyring to nail him to a board, so just as fast as we jump on the wagon in support we jump off almost as fast and onto another to destroy. The MK has had some things go the wrong way, and others go positive. There will always be someone who doesn't like this or that, there will always be someone who will complain for any reason about anything, it's in their nature, and always someone who doesn't like that either, that's the world, re-al-ity, life, however you want to say it, it will always be there and no way to get rid of it. So I say to them for me at least, in one ear out the other.

I mean seriously MK's last good addition was back in 2003 (PhilharMagic).
Everything else since then except the Haunted Mansion refurb all came from the Bad Idea Bears

Makes me wonder if all of these VP's are just pawns for the parks while it's Rasulo or even Iger that makes all of the *big* decisions. Or TDO?

You have to look at what power park VPs have. Remember how Jim couldn't do anything of any size for the Epcot 25th? Then look at MK, how do you expect the VP there to get 10 million + refurbs signed. For the people involved in those decisions, you need to go further up the organization chart.
Remember as well that MK has by far the oldest infrastructure. A lot of finance goes into upkeep of things the guest never sees. Doesn't directly help the guest experience, but very neccessary.
