On our next trip to Disney (2015) we will be celebrating our 25yr anniversary and I would really like to do something special to mark the occasion. I was thinking about dinner at the California Grill and watching the fireworks but not really sure on that one now, does anyone have any suggestions ?

Wow - nothing like planning ahead! By 2015, there might be new options, but for now:

It's tough to beat the food & wine at California Grill, and going out to view the fireworks with the Wishes program playing is really nice. However, if you've done that before, and want to try something new:

Victoria & Albert's is a really special and wonderful experience - like 25th anniversary special, but yes, its pretty expensive.

Jiko has great food and a nice dining room that's romantic, and there's the added benefit of being at the ALK when you are done, so you can take a nice walk out by the savannahs (and use the night vision if its not too late) and/or sit by one of the beautiful fire pits. Victoria Falls is also pleasant for an after dinner drink ...

They also have fireworks cruises. I don't have personal experience with this, but it always sounded like a nice, unique thing to do. Maybe after your dinner or on another night. Heck, plan something different each night to celebrate!

have done three and they're very nice. took my wife on one this august while on our honeymoon and we loved it. it's one of the best ways to see the fireworks.

as for california grill, it's always a great idea.

Cancel the trip to the world and go for a Disney Cruise on the Dream or the Fantasy, and have dinner at Remys, it will be like nothing you have ever experienced. :D

If you want to be in WDW for your anniversary I would make many suggestions.

Dinner at California Grill with the fireworks is always nice.

you can also take a carriage ride at either POR or at FW resorts. You can have a nice dinner at any of the signature restaurants. Narcoosees is wonderful since you have a view form inside the restaurant and a viewing platform outside in which you can see the fireworks. You can also take one of the fireworks cruises or rent out the yacht at the Grand Floridian (the Grand 1) that comes with a butler and a captain.
You can have afternoon tea at the GF or an elegant dinner at Victoria and Alberts at the chefs table.
There are a ton of things to do to make your trip special.

If you need help please feel free to contact me. I have worked with hundreds of clients celebrating special occasions such as an anniversary and I would love to help.

Thanks Pam will probably call on you nearer the time for some help. Planning well in advance as we are coming from the UK, staying at the Swan & Dolphin and have 2 teenagers in tow, the trip will be expensive!!! but it's a vacation and a half that's why I was wanting some ideas now. :)
