The biggest reason why I’d prefer the original emerald green over the Tweetsie green. It’s easier to see the difference between the Emerald Green and Lilly’s Hunter Green in person compared to looking at photos and videos on electronics.
WRONG, emerald green IS used by Tweetsie Railroad, Roger first wore hunter green like Lilly from 1971 to 2002 before retrieving it in 2023. Look at the two images again 🧐:

I wonder why Tweetsie decided to paint it that way...the Disney era colors are much better in my opinion. Part of me is also still wondering who wanted to change the tender and text design on Roger; the changes make Roger stand out a lot.

So here’s a video I found of Roger departing from Main Street, with a fan holding up sign he made welcoming Roger back. The acceleration out of Main Street is insane!!

Yeah, but his grammar in the video title and description is really bad... He didn't bother removing the stupid YouTube Kids bot. 😖

Roger and Walter today. Roger pulling his yellow consist and Walter pulling Roy's blue 400s. So the Walt and Roy express:) and boy was it an express. Walt took off with little effort out of FL station that by the time we were past the space mountain entrance the spiel for Tron was begining!!!! Fun!

Honestly they both pulled out of the stations with such effortless ease.

Just curious: does Roger still have his original bell?

Heard the Lonergan this morning coming into Main Street Station. Got excited and was expecting Roger but…………..it was Walter. Looks like I’m gonna have to eat my words about the Baldwin staying for a while lol. The whistle shuffle continues!
So I have an update regarding Walter's whistles: per an engineer for the railroad, the valve for the Baldwin is broken and maintenance is waiting for a new one at the moment. Apparently the valve from Roy was used for Walter's Baldwin, since Roy is now under overhaul. Per the engineer who replied to me, no one likes the current Crosby whistle, not even when it was on Roy. This is hinting that either the Buckeye or the Baldwin will return at one point; the latter situation is likely if Lilly is wearing Walter's Buckeye and Lilly's own Buckeye is retired.

Only time will tell. It is still possible to fix Lilly’s Buckeye. They just need to machine out a new bowl, and replace the valve. It’s up to them if they wanna do that.

The Lonergan 4 inch 3-chime whistle sounds brilliant on Roger, but a little too low pitch whenever some of the engineers slacked off on the whistle cord or the Lonergan itself had some sediments clogging up one of the chambers causing the whistle to sound like a Crosby:

In the new video you can kinda hear how similar the Lonergan on Roger and the Crosby on Walter are. But like I said, the engineer I talked with on Instagram says that the crew hates the Crosby whistle. Personally, it sounds fine, but either the Baldwin or the Buckeye would fit it better.

They used those words? "Despised"?
I cannot imagine a WDW trainman posting such a thing
