Hey, everyone, the rockwork has started! What fun!

Someone should start a thread on that happy topic so we can discuss it!

Oh, wait . . . . :lookaroun

I might buy that excuse for the Tomorrowland Terrace but not the Veranda. IMHO Disney is sitting on an untapped goldmine with the Veranda. Had the POTC character meal with Jack Sparrow gone through it could have become the next CRT in terms of popularity.

Could not agree with this more. Can't tell you how many times I am asked "What character meals are there for boys?". Sure boys can enjoy Chef Mickey's, Donald's Safari....but there isn't something that inherently screams "the boys answers to all those princess meals" like dining with Jack Sparrow. Heck, I'd line up there myself :)

.....wait...wasn't this a thread about rockwork??

Actually, yes.
The FLE was conceived and put into motion YEARS before Legoland ever thought about buying Cypress Gardens. You are looking for a connection where there simply isn't one.

Splitting hairs? Clever the way you put this. You might be right that the decision was not based on the CG purchase. Perhaps Legoland was looking at the Splendid China location back then. That would have really gotten Disney's attention. And the FLE may have gotten so much momentum that there was no stopping it even when Legoland decided on going to CG.

Just a thought.

It's Merf all over again...except JT takes it better.

Apparently, I missed the point where everything when off the rails with Merf because they never bothered me. At least they had photo updates and added *something* to the conversation besides bizarre unfounded speculation and rampant unfounded narcissism.

Funny that you can't use actual quotes to prove your point. You have to create them out of thin air and do exactly what you accuse others of. Merf said they were going to add a mountain facade to the Japan pavilion and that is the only Epcot add I remember anyone speculating about.

I have said they should update the Soarin film to fit the theme of the pavilion and plus the ending of LWTL but I didn't say that was definitely happening. So I think you might be mixing me up with others. I am willing to give you the benefit of the doubt because you used to have a decent blog. Have you moved on to blogging about the economy or something?

Well, just to tilt things midly back to the original topic, while I'm glad to see rock work starting, this bears little on the overall schedule of the project itself. So much interior work still has yet to be done. Framing and wrapping a house is the easy part; wiring, piping, drywalling and decorating takes much longer....
