My first impressions are that this is 1) a nice improvement over what was a likeable, but unremarkable path between Fantasyland and Frontierland, and 2) I'm incredibly happy that Big Thunder Ranch is gone. I remember when BTR was added back there and from the start it struck me as an afterthought (because it was?) or kind of a temporary inconsequential diversion. Or maybe I was just bitter because it sat we had been told for years that Discovery Bay was going to be built. Whatever the case, it's nice to see what they've done with the place. ;)

EDIT: Just looked at a few videos and the pond leftover from the Mine Train looks tattered and shabby in comparison to the new stuff. Please tell me that area will get a full overhaul before SW Land opens.

New pathway looks fantastic. Will hopefully relieve some of the congestion problems. 2 of the SWL entrances will be on the Trail, correct?

Yes. Both of the 2 SWL entrances are visible along the newly reopened Trail. In this short and mercifully comment-free video, you can see the two big SWL entrances at the 0:10 mark and the 1:15 mark. The first entrance even has a big Star Wars Land artwork piece on the wall.

The 3rd entrance to SWL is just north of Critter Country and the Hungry Bear Restaurant.

And then, on the opposite end of the blogging spectrum, is this 11 minute video with lots of stream-of-consciousness commentary. The mute button can be your friend with this one.

The Big Thunder Trail looks great. Not sure I prefer it to the old Trail though. I like how it was dark and felt like you were in the wilderness. Looking forward to seeing it in person. Well that and the Tomorrowland churro Cart that moved 15 feet north. I need to see it for myself. My friend said it's ruining sightlines of the trash can. @SSG

I'm a little supprised no one has commented on the fact the old Natural Arch was removed. I suppose that's at least one sign that fans here are satisfied with the excecution. #nostalgia

It's amazing that this was how the area looked about a year ago.

Talk about starting from scratch! It's very impressive that the Big Thunder Trail, which still is only 75% completed with lots more trees and berm-buildings going in behind it, looks as great as it does on opening day. They spent a fortune here on mature trees and vegetation, not to mention the Imagineering of the new rockwork, hills, structures, trestles, etc.
