Jedi one big problem about Divx is this the quality of the video might turn out so well that Disney might get alittle mad about it. Just an fyi I would post something like that in private not in public dont want to get Steve in trouble

Jedi dont think I was getting onto I wasnt. I agree Divx is great near dvd quality. Its just you have to be careful sometimes so no ones gets in trouble

DivX is perfectly legal..and Disney would have the SAME problem if the video looked like crap than if it were crystal clear. Same goes for audio....It is just a codec...that wont get you in trouble. The content..thats the kicker. But...in reality...you have absolutly nothing to worry about...trust me.

DivX has been around for almost 3 years now (eek..now i feel old) and is quickly becoming the "standard" for net movie watching..well..divx and ASF. As long as its always free (which it will be)...there will be no legal 'isseus" to deal with

LoL..understandable...there is still a LOT of confusion as to whats "legal" on this here interweb....

Lets look at it from a more "obvious" example...MP3s...

The codec itself ISNT illegal....and even tho TECHNICALLY the content is ALSO not illegal..it is copyrighted. So THATS what would get you in trouble...However..has anyone gotten busted for it? Not really...Will anyone be able to stop it...yeah right...

The "legality" issues are now just being transferred from MP3 to DivX...and the story will end the same way....

Does anyone have the GOOD quality master omnisphere? I have basically all of the Horizons sound files, however, I am looking for an alternate version of the Omnisphere. If you listen, you can hear lots of distortion and quite a few "Clicks". However, the other sounds are very very nice!

HELP

Does anyone please have some advice on downloading these files? I've tried them on both my windows and my mac computer, but they will not download. I right click on the links, and save them to my hard drive. Then, the download screen closes and that's all that happens. Any advice of what I'm doing wrong and/or how to get these to work?

they are downloading for me try doing a search on your pc and see if it put it in an area you havent looked. Try My Documents

orlpassholder, thanks for the advice. I just tried that...I tried downloading again, and I'm making sure that I'm downloading them to my desktop this time, so the files will be easy to find. They still don't work for me. Any other ideas?
