This thing is trash. Just because it was popular in some Asian country doesn't mean a thing here. :hurl:

Not my cup of tea either. I'll save my money and spend it on Figment merchandise . . . the official mascot of Epcot. No, wait . . . I think I already bought all 5 Figment items that are sold in Epcot. :brick:

Anyone else wish Disney would pay a little more attention to the original Disney bear? :lookaroun

I would buy immediately buy a Humphrey the Bear plush if I ever saw one, and I would wait in line all day to meet him.

They have him now! I actually saw one at Animal Kingdom during my trip in may. It was at the store to the left as you exit The Oasis. I can't remember the name of it.

I should've picked it up but I didn't want to pay 30 bucks.

I think the problem some people are having is that this is a major marketing push, investing money which some view should be spent on expanding the parks. Ultimately, I think this will fizzle. It's not based on any well-known property, and most things that are popular in Asia are met with a "why?" here. The problem is the gross commercialization that is going on (and not just at Disney...a day at Six Flags is a day in commercials Hell). The commodities offered at Disney are supposed to be memories and unique experiences. Instead it's turning into a really well-themed mall with a few rides thrown-in to justify the admission.

Two words: "pin trading"

one word: "vinylmation"

Be afraid . . . be very, very afraid :lookaroun
