No
not arguing at all just have a difference of opinion on what we feel the company genuinely wants to do..... i feel all the reasons explained are nothing more than excuses.... a billion dollar company admitting a product absolutely stinks yet refuses to due anything about it in a reasonable time is NOT a company that cares to resolves issues.
Yet you bought another pass? Seems like if I was annoyed by the direction of a company, I wouldn't waste hundreds on another pass.

My guess? No clue what’s gonna happen
Ha. Despite the fact that I have shared with a select few what is going to happen, I am not here to dangle things for clout or for fun. I am a parks fan first and while I am happy to share what I definitely know, some stuff isn't for me to share publicly. And when I see fellow fans getting upset and I know something that may help alleviate the tension, I try to do so. Apologies if my vagueness is annoying but this is just the deal with some of this stuff.

That being said, @Sirwalterraleigh is generally correct. People who work at Disney aren't here. Anything you hear, including from me, is second hand. Some of it is straight from the horses mouth, some of it is anecdotal, some of it is incomplete information; like the original park hopping rumor.

Fair enough…I withdraw my question 👍🏻

Clearly they lurk and implement every suggestion posted.

They do not post, obviously.
Well Spray tan Bob certainly listened to me in the sugarplum lollipop forum when I said “stop building DVC and increasing college program and start building rides…you’re already over capacity and you’re gonna run out of runway…” in 2009…

…worked like a charm.

You’re welcome 😎

I'll be honest though - with Park Pass, they are making their intentions pretty obvious if you think about it long enough.

No clue, but everything goes over my head.

I'll just wait and see what our April trip will turn into. As long as extra hours for deluxe is still around, I'm neutral.

you keep preaching that YET they refuse to do anything until 2023 as you continue to tell us bc they are worried about refunds.... so yea tough to buy into the story they care about guests satisfaction let leave a system in place for whats gonna be effectively probably 3/4 of a year until we see any significant changes. i would LOVE to know what these "changes" are that you speak of as you again constantly defend the wait and say that some will be happy others may not be... So the waiting to fix this shows they dgaf imo and the other cryptic message to me means they are contemplating some high priced skip the line system which in theory is NO fix to a current horrendous system. (granted the last part is pure speculation on my part)
Wait, so Disney implements a major software change, totally revamping the line skipping structure across its parks. They do so coming on the heals of the largest disruption in travel/attendance in the lifetime of the parks, and do so with limited to no beta testing. In fact they open up the system prior to international travel being fully re-opened further scewing the intial data. They do so in the last quarter of 21, and you somehow thinking waiting until they have some actual data to show how the system is working is refusing to do anything? I mean seriously the system has been in use for basically half a year. They haven't even gotten a full summer season of data to see how it is functioning, to see where there may be areas to improve it, and then implement those changes. And lets be honest parks are packed, attendance isn't suffering, and it doesn't appear future reservations are tanking. This isn't a life and safety issue that requires a snap decision, nor does it appear to be having large scale impacts to sales.

You need hard data, and a sample size large enough to be meaningful to see how the system is functioning, and you don't get that from message board complaints from Veruca Salt wanna be's screaming to change it "NOW NOW NOW." You need some time to see what the system gets right, and what it doesn't. There is no need to rush that process. And if/when changes are made which may effect previously sold product, you need to time to either phase in changeover or figure out a refund policy. Again all things that take time.
