I just let him pee in the back of the bus so it would smell like the monorail.Schroedinger's Bus. If you let the kid go pee, the bus would have arrived. Since you didn't, it didn't.

Immersion is more than just not seeing some things. You keep going on about not seeing World Showcase Lagoon as though the bathroom, Skyliner and Crescent Lake is some great addition that really adds to being a distinct place. The biggest building in the space is the back wall of the theater, something you will only be able to look at.Alright you got me there. I should’ve stuck with my original point of it is MORE immersive when you do not see the lake rather than the lake ruins the immersion entirely.
I guess you also forgot the difference between a lake and a river.
Let the kid use the bathroom and then use the app to time the next bus while you wait in an air conditioned room.
That gondola in World Showcase Lagoon made the Italy Pavilion terrible for decades. Ain’t no lagoons in Rome!Alright you got me there. I should’ve stuck with my original point of it is MORE immersive when you do not see the lake rather than the lake ruins the immersion entirely.

Canada, hot in November! Ugh!
Sun in London!

There is kind of a river running beside the pavilion. And I have yet to encounter a pickpocketer at the France pavilion, and there is no river there, only a lake out front. I DEMAND 1000000% REALISM!!!

This is a textbook example of finding fault for the sake of finding fault.
There will now be a river next to the road to Rat “out back”. Enhanced realism, if anything. And I have yet to encounter a pickpocketer at the France pavilion, and there is no river there, only a lake out front. I DEMAND 1000000% REALISM!!!
Ok, back on topic now.![]()
I thought it was the pseudo seine lolThat's in seine!
Finding a way to projection map onto the floor would be the biggest change I'd vote for. There has been discussion here as to how Rat can be improved. The question I have (not having ridden it) is whether there are truly simple tweaks to make it better? I would assume (ha!) that TWDC would be aware that something could be better and that a simple modification would be easy - especially in a new build.
So if it would be easy to do better, then why not? I don't believe that Disney is lazy, for the most part.

Ive heard that too. I’ve asked.@marni1971 it sounds like this is ahead is schedule? Any reason? How far ahead?
Painting the floor would help but since you see the floor in the animated segments ideally you'd want the floor you're on to move with it. Projection mapping could easily project around the cars.Would it need to be a projection map - since I assume that would be blocked by the cars and project on the riders. What about simply theming the floor, if that is what is needed?
edit: I suppose since they may take different paths, then it would be difficult to theme entirely, but what about the edges of the screens?
