^this! All of the attractions at WDSP are surprisingly great. Rock 'n Rollercoaster in particular shocked me as being a significant step up from the Hollywood Studios version. For some reason it felt faster and smoother. Also, the slightly different theme was great. Plus, the wait was only 5 minutes.

Apparently they don't shut the work lights off during Illuminations. Its very noticeable from across the lagoon while everything else is dark.

Can’t speak to RCID or FL law, but here construction sites are required to maintain certain light levels 24/7 until completion. They might could “reduce” the level (turn some lights off) or have light sources at lower height for show times only, but I’m guessing the temp lights werent hung/setup to accomodate that.

I am not sure that applies. Wouldn't they have to keep lights on in park projects too? I don't remember lights like this with New Fantasyland. These are incredibly bright.

Good point, I remember when 7DMT was under construction, at night outside was DARK, but inside show scenes had visible light on. So not sure where they draw that line. Could be based on access paths into job sight (ie barrier dividing inside and outside areas on 7DMT).

Rode Crush this summer; the surprise of the trip. We absolutely loved it. I will say, if you have the choice, sit facing front. Son and I were facing backward the first time through and the "show" part was kind of missed on us. It was there, but not as much as wife and daughter facing the other way.
