Not that I really care, but this outfit for Mickey is awful. "But it makes more sense for him to be dressed down at his house." I don't care. He looks like he promotes his soundcloud in the replies to his own tweets. Should've just kept him in his tux.

Agreed. It makes no sense for him to be dressed like that when everyone else is in their iconic outfits. It's tacky.

If Mickey is going to be dressed in 2020's casual attire like we just showed up at his house unexpectedly, why is Minnie still wearing her iconic dress and heels and hair bow???

I want to crash Minnie's pad for a photo and find her slumped on her sofa in an old robe drinking boxed wine!
I want to be immersed in Minnie's real story!

I hope Chip n Dale and Horace Horsecollar meet and greets at Mickey’s Toontown too!

Chip 'n' Dale, maybe, but I doubt Horace will make any major appearances, let alone for meet-n-greets. In fact, I have a feeling that once the initial hoopla wears off, Pete will also be relegated to just event appearances, just like Horace and Clarabelle.

A lounge singer from the 1952 Chip n Dale short "Two Chips And A Miss" who was Chip and Dale' love interest. She was among the original Disney Characters that was present during Disneyland's opening day broadcast in 1955 and meetable during the parks earlier days until vanishing in the early 1960s.

She eventually resurfaced at the Disney Parks in 2005 originally exclusive to Tokyo Disney Resort and wouldn't return to Disneyland until 2009. Disneyland Paris has also started making her more prominent during the 2010s and for the parks 30th Anniversary Celebration.

I guess that makes sense, especially considering that, at one point, Chip 'n' Dale are briefly shown as drooling wolves!

Gadget from the Chip n Dale Rescue Rangers series was also partially inspired by Clarice complete with the duo occasionally trying to win her affection. However, Gadget is completely oblivious to the duos feelings on her throughout the series. Although Dale was given a one-off love interest named Foxglove the Bat.

Funnily enough, Clarice reappears in the 2022 American-French series "Chip n Dale: Park Life" where she's redesigned to look like a civilized chipmunk as Chip and Dale and no longer anthropormorphic. Her personality was also changed entirely where she's notably tomboyish and neither characters has any romantic feelings toward the Chip and Dale and vice-versa.

Isn't it weird he showed up first at Disneyland? A decade ago they gave him his own meet n' greet location at WDW in their New Fantasyland makeover, except he wasn't actually there. So then he shows up in Anaheim a decade later where there is no real point of reference for him? Kind of odd location for his "debut", don't you think?

Because since the mid 2010s (specifically late 2015 and 2016) WDW has been very cheap when it comes to bringing newer Disney Characters (both old and new) for guests to meet that isn't for a ticketed event (such as MNNSHP and MVMCP) or a special event/party. WDW has been focusing more on The Princesses, The Sensational Six, The Renaissance Era, Pixar, and a sprinkle of some of Disney's Classic Characters and usually ignores the 1940s, 1960s (the exception of The Jungle Book and Winnie the Pooh), 1970s, and 1980s period of Disney Animated Films.

A majority of rare or once common Disney characters (such as Pinocchio, The Seven Dwarfs, and The Three Little Pigs characters) are reserved for guests who are members of Disney Vacation Club (since WDW has special DVC parties which bring out Disney's lesser-known and older characters), the RunDisney Events (which is the only time Oswald appears at the WDW Resort and Marie after getting cut from meet and greets due to the development of Shanghai Disney), and Private Events exclusive for either the Media or for WDW Cast Members (such as Pleakley, Jumba, and The Experiments) after the parks and resorts closes to guests.

How about Don Karnage returning to Toontown? It’s happened before

Someone saw the chance to fold the development costs into the Toontown redo. WDW obviously has the chance to add him but there’s no way they will
