Liberty Square Riverboat: Closed for Refurbishment [September 17, 2007 to September 20, 2007]

So was the RNRC refurb wrong? Will it go down in October or even early next year? Anyone know anymore?

I agree with each passing day that if Disney announces the early September closure of RNRC then it would seem a cheap shot, and bad guest service.

Finally, with the announcement today that Disney will be adding the RNRC fast pass update machines in 14 days why do this now when it could be done in the rumored rehab in two months?

I would think that this is the one place that a person could vent about Disney vacation disapointment and not have so many people come back at them with rude comments...

That said, I hope the RnRC rumors are false - my vacation is set in stone at this point and I hate to miss one of my favs

Well everyone has the right to vent their frustrations about disappointments! I mean, WDW holidays are not cheap and we should always demand the best possible service.

Announcing a rerub date on one of MGM's biggest rides less than two months before it happens is bad service! And if this was part of the CM update then whats the reason for not letting paying guests know bout it to?:wave:

In january, disney closed RNR, El Rio De Tiempo, and Splash mountain.

They also closed the POR food court without telling their guests.

January 2006 they closed Space ranger Spin and Test Track.

I think that you are pretty lucky if you have 2 or fewer refurbs going on during your vacation.

I would post a comment like that, because rehabs DO happen, and they have to happen SOMETIME. Would you rather they just close all of Disney World for a while so they can do some updates?

Haunted Mansion was closed during my recent vacation and Rock N Rollercoaster was broken. I didn't whine about it and I had a great vacation.

Get over it.

I'm glad you had a great trip! I'm looking forward to mine.
