Video looks awesome! Loving those new laser effects. I remember when I was much younger, I would always watch the sky for IllumiNations lasers and the Hollywood spotlights from Pleasure Island and I think Old Town. From the video, it looks they were having some difficulty with the building lights on Japan's Pagoda.

They've been having lots of issues with Japan in general. Music didn't play there on Sunday night, either.

Two lasers on each of the main islands plus one each in the original pavilion positions.

Actually, there are 2 lasers on China Island (one on each end) and one laser on Japan Island and one laser on UK Island.

I'm starting to seriously wonder if the "laser-bounce-fan" from 3:00-3:25 has been perma-disabled from the pavilion lasers. That would make me very sad.

Or it could be that the AA laser is still troubled. It very clearly cuts out at 10:42...

PURE AWESOME.

Particularly taken with the fact that they catch the fountains at some points during the show, yet again, reminding me of Illumi88 and my childhood. Nice work, IllumiNations Team. This is huge.

Those lasers are just as bright if not brighter as the old single colered lasers. I like how they hit the fountains, will there be any more effects thruout the show, with those lasers they can easily fog the area and have some awesome elements.

Forgive the comparison, but those look like the lasers in Roller Coaster Tycoon 3, i.e. they look unrealistic. I really can't wait to see them in person.

Pretty good video there. Definitely captures some of the new colors and effects (the choreography of Celebration is particularly pleasing).

But we still don't have a complete video of one of the 3 main pavilion lasers (the AA unit cut out a few times). From what I have seen on videos, the Mexico laser seems to be the most reliable. Anyone want to go back and focus on that one?

Yes. But she was doing the "in just 30 minutes" announcements back in 2004.

So to categorize her as a new addition to the show is Inaccurate.

Personally? I'd rather have a straight up holiday show like Way back in the day.

Is that lady the host for the origional illuminations introduction?

Really good to see some love given to this show, as i have always felt it was WDW's best pyro presentation.

The intensity of the colors on the new upgraded lasers must be terrific to see in person.
Will at some point in the future.

If you're talking about ROE.... Yup, but not the host, as that's always been Jim Cummings. She announced the show and all the safety and time information up until 2009, I think. DOn't know why she was replaced by the male voice that usually does MK's announcements.

It in fact does, however there is one fluke; they forget to announce France before saying peace on earth in French. If you listen to the show immediately after they say it in Japaneese they go straight into French and even light up the France pavilion. This will probably be fixed for next year I would guess.
