Reflections of Earth improvements including new lasers

Yes, 10 individual mines launched from the 8 mini barges. Land in the water and burst up/diagonally along with the other mines on board the other barges. It's a really neat effect. 80 extra mines add a lot of extra color and brightness.

Finally managed to find them in Martin's video. They launch at 11:55 and then you can just make out one of them explode at about 12:01.

It does look like a neat effect. Kind of a shame it gets lost/overpowered by the final barrage.

What, the little thing that explodes over by the island's tip?

And another new video

This one shows very well the new island laser effects and what the new instalation is capable of. Again, America goes dark during chaos for a few minutes.

Thanks to the contributors for this.

Best vid so far! Plus it finally makes the Mexico area a viable spot for seeing the lasers. Plus it reinforces the different patterns of island/pavilion during one of my (new!) favorite parts @ 8:57. So good.

^ The wipe is superb. Wish it was used more often.

I feel like this video showcases only the France/Island laser? Am I wrong in saying that you really can't see much of AA's or any of the other's point of origin?

It's fantastic, regardless. Just wondering.

These new lasers really bring me back to the old days, especially with chaos which now lives up to some of the greatest scenes of the past shows. I still cant believe what i'm seeing and cant wait to see it in person. It seems to me like theres more and more laser effects in every new video that comes out. I sure hope they have lasers thru out the entire show someday. Ever since I was a little kid the lasers were big for me. Illuminations was one thing I looked forward to and was the next thing after Christmas Morning.

Looks great.

Really good to see some love given to this show, as i have always felt it was WDW's best pyro presentation.

The intensity of the colors on the new upgraded lasers must be terrific to see in person.
Will at some point in the future.
Saw the new lasers for the first time last night. A great improvement, especially the lasers on the islands. It was most noticeable there. Just seems overall like there is more color and a renewed intensity to the show.

I've seen ROE many, many times, but this was the first holiday tag I've ever seen. It starts out kind of slow but wow, that final barrage at he end is stunning. Couple that with the Processional and Holidays Around the World and I'll take Epcot over the MK Christmas Party any day for holiday park going.

I've now watched ROE two nights in a row, and the new lasers are simply amazing. The "wave" effect after Chaos is lovely. Will that eventually be on both sides?

And the lasers during the holiday tag are nuts - along with the final barrage of fireworks. Reminds me of the New Year's tag.

So now that Disney has painfully shelled out the money what's the catch... World of color? And whose getting the hand me downs, did the Fantasmic lasers get any brighter lol?

Agree with you about Epcot vs. MK. That said, there's quite a bit thats been lost or diminished over the years - the Lights of Winter being the biggest. But also the presents around the tree, the tree lighting show, the Peace Garden, the AA gingerbread house. Future World still has barely any decor and World Showcase lacks in some areas as well (though its not as bad as it was a few years ago). Even things like the Processional are getting to be impossible to see if you don't buy a dinner package.

A big plus is that Epcot's offerings are available all month to all park guests, rather than the greedy party model at MK. It's still fun, but hoildays at Epcot, and WDW in general, aren't what they used to be.

I found it interesting last night that the whistling rockets were used in the holiday tag since they were replaced from the main show. Are they just too expensive to use nightly?
